Shirk Survival (Discontinued)

Just had another run on this hunter, Mists 10, the changes made in the macro to put Fury of the Eagle into the Coordinated Assault window have bumped it’s damage up significantly, see image.

This was 1.62m dps overall, ilvl 627.

hey
can u pls add the interrupt with shift as Orb done pls :frowning:

Amazing macro… def one of the best ive used. one question ive tried for the last hour or so with no luck.

Are you able to add [Flanking Strike] into the rotation? copied one of the sequences but its not going off. this is what i added and i added it below explosive shot.

/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/use [@player,combat] 13
/use [@player,combat] 14
/startattack
/petattack
/cast [nopet] Call Pet 1
/castsequence [mod:alt] Coordinated Assault, Fury of the Eagle
/cast [combat,nochanneling] Flanking Strike

Ok figured it out… once i added a repeat to it.

Bare in mind my stats are all over the place. im rerolling from ret.

Someone with better knowledge than me at this would you be able to sim and see if flanking strike is worth it. ? i see alot of top end players dropping binding shot and getting this.

Add this line to the top of each block as required:

/cast [mod:shift] Muzzle

I won’t add it to the main macro, shift is just too convenient a modifier for other things imo.

If you check the main post you’ll see why flanking strike has been removed from the macro and talented out. Basically it’s a movement spell which will throw you and your pet at the target. When there’s mechanics going on like ground effects or mandatory movement you’re going to regret it as you’ll be launched at the enemy and die.

Flanking strike is 100% recommended from a build perspective and will generally result in a 3-5% damage increase overall but you can’t do any damage when you’re dead!

I initially left it in to see how bad this could be and I died once or twice per dungeon to untimely flanking strikes. Keep in mind, this is going off every 30 seconds.

You could put it in on a modifier or simply let off the damage until the mechanic has passed but I think both of those will result in over complication and a a general dps loss.

I’ve been using the Terms of Engagement talent to reduce the cd on harpoon the last couple of days and along with Coordinated Assault casts every minute your mobilty is excellent. I typically engage with harpoon on whatever target needs to be interrupted first, interrupt and then Coordinated Assault. By the time movement is required again harpoon will be ready. You’ll be stuck to the mobs like spray tan.

Just a quick comment on this. Unfortunately my pally will do at least 15% more overall damage than even the best run on my hunter. I’ll also be eating a sandwich with one hand and talking on the phone. Pally is just unbelievably easy to play with GSE right now. You have to worry less about general survivablity, positioning and you’ve just got less “jobs” in a group. On hunter I’m jumping around like mad. Between traq, misdirect, traps, interrupts and other misc hunter jobs It’s a lot more sweaty to put out equivilent dps in my personal opinion.

nice macro, but I was used to this macro, but no one can update it anymore

Yeah just tiresom looking for a group and every group has a ret. Haha.

Misdirect Macro has spam chat. When using it, can we turn off the spam chat? Overall, it works very well.

the macro is just smart misdirect

can Y share modified

The current macro has all these things in it.

I didn’t make smart misdirect, it’s just something I’m using. With that said, mine doesn’t spam chat.

The macro in ST works better in multitarget than the one in AOE for me.

I’ll admit, in testing just now, there’s not much in it. You could probably just use the ST macro for both if you wanted simplicity. I get about 100 to 200k more damage from the MT macro personally.

I can’t use it in the China region, brother! Is there a way to solve it?

I’m sorry, that’s beyond my understanding.

don´t work for me. missdirects and after the first Block only autoattacks. Both Scripts. Tested Orbalisk and this works fine. Can´t imagine where the issue is. :frowning:

Hey there, tried this out and seems to just stall out, no hunters mark, no mend pet, definatly not working as intended. I think there may be read issue on the gse side skipping the blocks. not sure as i am not a programmer. but thanks for making stuff like this, i hope it gets figured out.
