Hey guys, I’m a bit new to posting on this forum but have been messing around with gse for a while now. Anyway, since I didn’t see anyone else post a rotation yet for balance druids, I decided to see what I could come up with for a rotation. Since I like to reserve my ctl/shift/alt/ buttons for other things, I created 3 macro sets, one for single target, one for aoe, and one that focuses on healing should the need arise.

This is for single target: update 12/02/23:

To get the most out of the macro set, I recommend disabling any action blocks that uses a spell you don’t have learned.

Note: if you find that you’re not actually casting any spells even though the macro is going through it’s rotation, I recommend going to options, Troubleshooting, and clicking on the “Update Macro Stubs”, as that’s what fixed the problem for me.

thanks for the macro, but still today i see a monstrous error in creating macros for dudu balance. you cannot make a single-key macro as the mechanics of the dudu rotate the solar / lunar eclipse so as I have created you must have 2 of them.
solar eclipse = solar spell
lunar eclipse = lunar spell.
currently dudu has been nerfed too much and does not perform well at all alas. in aoe it is a slaughterhouse without cd it remains very low class in dps.
without having convoke it is unplayable and astral power too nerfed

you can make a rotation-based macro with a single key and a modifier.

Simply replace the line with casting wrath with the following statement:

/cast [mod:alt, nochanneling] Starfire; [nomod:alt, nochanneling] Wrath

If you use the marco with the modifier alt, it will cast starfall. Without the modifier it will cast wrath.

but i think you really want Starfire, not starfall
but that macro logic is a good one to have for other situations too

what speed should we run this on mouse software ?

I don’t personally use an auto clicker program to play the game, so I wouldn’t know what the ideal click speed would be for this. Typically I use the above setup as an easy way to do more of the casual content up to lfr tops and maybe an occational pvp match where repeatedly clicking the macro manually works plenty well for me. For that reason, I also haven’t tested this setup in any high end content so I wouldn’t know how well it performs there.

is the AOE talents and the ST talents the exact same i copied each twice and imported twice they seem the same and no starfall??

Ya, I designed the talents for all builds to primarily work with ST. however, I added spells in the aoe sequence which should work well if someone wanted to adjust the talents to include spells like starfall. If you happen to come up with a quality aoe talent build/ improvement to what I created in gse, feel free to share.

Alright, after grinding to level 70 and adjusting my talents around a bit (which now includes starfall now), I decided to share the improvements I’ve made as I now have gse set up so starfall (for aoe) and starsurge (for st) should proc a lot more often. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think.
