Any plans to update?
Everything should be updated. Sorry for the delay. Check first post for Updates.
@Slowdog in Block #4 /cast [combat] Wild Guardian
why? its passive.
My bad, I have been working on a couple of different sequences at once and accidentally left this in the sequence. You are right that it does nothing in the Elune build, but it will also not hurt anything. You can disable the block, delete it, or just leave it as-is and the macro will move on without issue.
Since DotC is getting butchered on 05/05/26, this will be the sequence to use. Thrash is getting a big upgrade and this sequence is made for that, LMK how it goes for you.
Hey.
Great macro, however, wonder if you can help, I’m having an issue where modifiers are simply not working, this isn’t specific to this sequence. Any common causes that are known of for this? Thanks
The most common causes for modifiers not working in GSE are keybind conflicts in WoW itself. Here’s what to check in order:
1. Action bar lock modifier Go to Game Menu → Interface → Action Bars. If your action bar is locked, WoW assigns Shift or Ctrl as the modifier to drag spells. That intercepts the keypress before GSE ever sees it. Change the lock modifier to something you don’t use or set it to None.
2. Ctrl bound to pet bar By default, WoW binds Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+0 to the pet action bar, even on classes without pets. Go to Key Bindings and unbind all Ctrl+ combinations under the Pet Bar section.
3. Shift+key bound to action bars WoW has separate action bars that default to Shift+1 through Shift+0. If those are bound, Shift is getting consumed by the action bar before reaching GSE. Unbind them in Key Bindings.
4. After any WoW patch Blizzard occasionally resets keybindings to default during prepatch or major updates, which re-enables all of the above. Always recheck after a patch.
None of this is specific to this macro; if modifiers aren’t working across all your GSE sequences, that’s almost certainly a keybind conflict.
when i look at the macro in GSE builder it says there are no blocks and it doesnt work when i import it to the game any thoughts
Same issue I ran into a few weeks ago. The problem is not your macro; it is the GSE Builder tool on the website. Tim has been moving everything over to gse.tools and the GSE Companion app, and that shift has broken how the web-based builder displays imported strings. It shows no blocks even though the macro is perfectly fine. Import it directly in-game via/gse, and you will see all the blocks load correctly. The website builder just cannot keep up with the format changes Tim keeps pushing through.
I am still keeping my sequences on wowlazymacros as GSE strings for now. Plus, all of my public sequences are on GSE.tools, where Tim has “guided us toward.” I have been playing around with GRIP as well since that seems to be where things are heading if Tim keeps locking more of GSE behind the Companion app. Not ready to make a full switch yet, but worth keeping an eye on.
Ok will try again and I will look at grip as well
How does this perform in raids?
It does well. I will be testing it tonight and will let you know if it is worse or better after these changes to Thrash.
How are things with the changes ?
I finished running a high mythic just a little bit ago and am really enjoying the thrash change. DotC is being left behind atm. Gaining threat is so much easier now.
What do you define as “high” ?
I ran a twelve, academy.
Glad to see someone still updating Druid macros. Thanks.
I was wondering if you looked at Dorki’s new build for Elune’s Chosen to see how it works with your macro. I might grab some “friends” and sucker them into a test with his build and your macro to see how it works.
TLDR: Dorki is kicking butt on Druid running Elune’s Chosen with no Apex talents.
Killer, LMK how it goes.
I would love to see this updated for Dorki’s build!
