Thank you for your work, I have really enjoyed your macros! I just created a new monk and am trying out this sequence. The macro seems to get stuck with the opening block. It will cast Rising Sun Kick, but then won’t cast any other abilities. Once RSK comes off CD, it casts it again. I tried deleting it and importing again multiple times, /reloading…etc. I am only level 15, but still have a number of the abilities that are a part of the regular damage rotation. Do you have any idea why it might be doing this?
The fact your level is low is certainly an issue since you don’t have jadefire stomp who should be the first spell to launch in the rotation. Wich sequence are you using ?
Thanks for your reply! I’m seeing the same thing with Gambit_Eng and Gambit_ST_Eng sequences. After RSK, it goes into a Jadefire Stomp, Tiger Palm, Tiger Palm…etc. So that does make sense that it gets stuck after RSK, without Jadefire Stomp to move on to next.
I’ve never played a healer, but this does tempt me to give it a try! Nice work on the sequence and other readable content for people! ![]()
Hey Wenlo, absolutely love your rotations. Had no clue I would like healer monk. But thanks to you I have found the joy of it! I was curious if this one is usable for 11.2? Didn’t want take it out without verifying.
Glad you like it! It is thanks to our new 4-piece set bonus, which makes the Fistweaving build stronger than ever. You can just do the melee rotation and out-heal/out-DPS almost any other healer in raid and M+
Wenlo, in that case which spec are you using? And are you generally doing the full auto or not version? I don’t have 4 set yet, but I did test 2 set and wow mega heals on harmony. Just in a quick lfr.
Hi @bonal_lucas because of you i start to enjoy mistweaver monk.
any updates on the MoH Build? im using your Chi-Ji right now and it feels good!
When I put in the talent code string it says it is out of date. Any chance we can get an updated talent code? I would really like to try this out. Thank you very much.
I use the single target harmonie sequence, most of the time, (the first sequence on this post) and this build is my fav at the moment
Just enjoying doing 1m4 dps on boss and doing 5-6M hps in the same time by just pressing the melee rotation
It is updated feel try to give it a try
Try again it should be fixed by now
You are god send! thank you very much!
So far it feel really good, did one LFR and ended up first place healing xd i have been also pushing some M+ keys and went from +4 to +9. I think i found my main now!
What other healing skills do you keep available to heal or do you just send it with the auto sequence?
Sorry really new to healing and monk, I don’t have 4p yet and only 665ilvl and I’m have been struggling with healing 2+mythics. Is this a gear thing or am I doing something wrong.
My delay is approx 112ms since that seemed to work on my Druid tank spec so I’m not sure if I should speed it up or slow it down.
Would love some insite on how to best optimize what I’m doing so I can push higher keys and start getting into raiding.
Also what do you use to tell you when to cast a dispel or I think it’s called detox on monk?
Thank you
I copied the answer I gave to a similar question on my other build. Wenlo, the Chi-Ji Raid and Mythic+ Build The War Within Mistweaver Monk (Updated for Season 3) - #320 by bonal_lucas
“That’s the good part about this type of Monk healing gameplay: you don’t need to focus on anyone in particular. You can just do your rotation and it heals everyone evenly. You can basically heal without needing raid frames, aside from occasionally putting Cocoon on people when they need it.”
So, if you struggle healing on +2 keys, the problem usually comes down to two things:
- Gear — either yours or your group’s.
- Player behavior — in low keys people often ignore mechanics, don’t interrupt, stand in every AoE, DPS is low, and fights last way longer than they should. As a result, people die randomly for no real reason. This is usually not a healing issue.
Outside of the sequence, you can occasionally spot-heal with Vivify, Cocoon, or apply HoTs like Renewing Mist and Enveloping Mist for the healing buff. But honestly, you shouldn’t need to do much outside of the sequence at all till you reach 14-15+ key level.
For the MS part, I leave it blank I never touched it. Gear and the set bonus play a huge role in optimization, and life becomes much easier once you reach a decent item level.
I can also recommend watching some Ortemist videos currently the #1 Mistweaver World in M+ on YouTube or Twitch. It’s a great way to see how it looks at the highest level, and when he decides to use his big healing cooldowns.
For the dispel i use this weak aura Wago its gonna tell you when ever you need to dispel someone and i use detox as mouseover macro.
I can also PM you my complete Healer Monk WeakAura setup if you need it.
yes please, that would be great
Hi, when i discovered Wenlo’s MoH Sequence my Mistweaver monk was around 650.
i combine his Macro with the Addon “Cell” that is like a click cast on partyframe.
i have been using his macro for like 2+ weeks now and my monk is ilvl 698
also try to disable the use of the Chi-ji skill because in my situation it was pressed long before big hits and the other one with the aoe heal it has a 3m cool down (dont know the name atm)
a tip i can give you is try to keep standing in your stump and when it procs cast it again.
you will notice the higher your ilvl gets the better the healing gets. also trinkets is important!
try also to read on what your skills do.
Can you use the talent trees in Wowhead or are these the best for this build and your other
Hey, Wenlo! Which talents are you running for M+ on your MoH build? I might have missed that, I believe you have just the raid talents posted, but maybe you run the same for all content?
