Zan’s M+ Lightsmith & Templar - TWW

ActionButtonUseKeyDown is just personal preference.
By default it’s turned off (I believe), and I keep mine off as well.

PPal_AS+Cons is a normal WoW macro.
You need to create this one in the regular WoW macro folder, either by typing /macro in chat or pressing ESC → Macros.
Use the macro text exactly as I wrote it in the post.

Zan’s_PPal_Sequence_TWW is the actual GSE sequence, this is the one you’ll be spamming.

The reason we create the PPal_AS+Cons macro in the normal macro book is because GSE can call macros directly from WoW’s macro folder.
When we do it this way, every time the sequence uses /castsequence, it continues from where it left off.

So for example:

  • Block 1 uses the /castsequence

  • Later in Block 4, when it calls the same macro again,
it doesn’t restart the sequence — it continues from the last spell used, because GSE is reading it from your macro book.

That’s all there is to it.

Hey everyone,

I’ve updated my post above and added a 3rd version to the import. I’ve been testing on a couple of new low-level/low-gear 80 Paladins the past week(s), and I’ve realized just how different sub-14 keys skill level is, and how much more proactive I need to be on interrupts compared to higher keys.

Version 1 – Manual use of Ardent Defender, Holy Bulwark & Avenger’s Shield (Sacred Weapon is on Auto)
Version 2 – Auto use of Ardent Defender & Holy Bulwark (Manual use of Avenger’s Shield)
Version 3 – Auto use of Ardent Defender, Holy Bulwark & Avenger’s Shield

For my 680 and 690 Paladins, I tend to use Version 2 about 90% of the time, hitting 100–120 actual interrupts (minimal overlaps) from Rebuke/Avenger’s Shield, and well over 200–300 total when adding Blinding Light and Divine Toll.

Using Version 2 with AD + Bulwark on full auto actually works really well, and I’m still running my +16–18 routes. It’s a bit tight sometimes, but Bubble+Final Stand, and Guardian make these pulls night and day.

Small update: to make this work, I’ve moved how Consecration is being used. The other macro is no longer required and also been removed from the post.

First of all, version 2 at 20ms works wonderfully for me. The only problem I have is that when the sequence is running, when I want to pull for example, bubble, I need to press like 4-5 times to get it activated, or I have to click it several times, so it’s a risk. Isn’t there a way that when you press a key the sequence will restart or stop and continue? How do you handle that?

I believe you’re using your send-key repeat as a toggle? I run mine as press-and-hold. When I hold key 1, it repeatedly sends the key every 20ms, and when I let go it stops. That way, if I need to Bubble or use another ability, I just release the key and press what I want to use.

In your case, you could set up a fast keypress for abilities you want to cast manually, like Bubble, while still using toggle for the main sequence.

Not sure what the best solution is overall, but this is how I do it, so maybe it gives you an idea to work with.

Yes, exactly, I use MOUSE4, so I can easily activate and deactivate it. Your idea isn’t bad, but which key do you hold down for all the pulls?

I use key 1 for the GSE sequence. It feels more natural for me, since I still have Judgment, Avenger’s Shield, and all my utility abilities on separate keys around WASD for pulls and utility.

Happy Holidays! I wanted to try out this macro, I see mention of creating the PPal_AS+Cons macro, but don’t see it anywhere in this post. Can you direct me to where to find it, or repost? Or is it no longer necessary with the latest version of GSE?

Happy holidays!
The PPal_AS+Cons macro is no longer in use. It was part of an older setup, but with the latest versions of the sequence, it’s no longer necessary.
