How To GnomeSequencer-Enhanced

Really, you want to make your own GS-yourMacros folder so this doesn’t happen. That way you can keep the basic macro pack and have your own set of macros which will never be overridden.

It’s been mentioned in a number of posts in these forums.

Correct with everything you have just said … thanks for pointing it out.

[quote quote=31103]Hi TimothyLuke,
You may want to advise users before you release an update, that modifying the GS-E macros in the folder will all be deleted once you allow the update to take place. If you were going to over write to entire file GS-DraikMacros every time you release an update it was in my opinion useless to list the macros in the first place.
While you have done fantastic work on this and have enhanced a lot of players game time experience, I am not impressed with your last release as I have now lost hours of testing and tuning my game play macros.
I have no doubt you will come back with the below which should have been there in the first place.
— Dont edit this file. It is regularily update when GS-E is updated and any — changes you have made may be lost. Instead either use the GS-myMacros — plugin from http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info24062-GS-EmyMacrosAddinPack.html — or see the wiki on creating Macro Plugins — https://github.com/TimothyLuke/GnomeSequenced-Enhanced/wiki/Creating-Addon-Packs

I appreciate your frustration @TM, I sincerely do. I just don’t know how many times I have to say the same thing. I added those lines into the mod on August 1. Added edit warning for DraikMacros files. · TimothyLuke/GSE-Advanced-Macro-Compiler@4e9c1b2 · GitHub

I honestly don’t know what else to say

Hi Timothy,

Don’t get me wrong you do fantastic work here with Lazy Macros and I greatly appreciate it as so do many others. My frustration is with the understanding why would you overwrite an entire macro folder with mostly if not the same lot of macros.

I have since my rant… created the separate macro folder as per the video instruction you posted so this sort of thing will not happen again. As I said keep up the great work you are helping a great deal of users have enjoyment from WOW were they would have normally not.

Hi, Dont know if this is the place to ask this…but wanted to know…what or how when everyone said keep it at 80 ms and stuff…i just keep bashing that one button.?

@Gunblade yeah they are talking about the time between button presses. Some programmable mice/keyboards have a repeat function.
