About the Windwalker category

(Replace this first paragraph with a brief description of your new category. This guidance will appear in the category selection area, so try to keep it below 200 characters.)

Use the following paragraphs for a longer description, or to establish category guidelines or rules:

  • Why should people use this category? What is it for?

  • How exactly is this different than the other categories we already have?

  • What should topics in this category generally contain?

  • Do we need this category? Can we merge with another category, or subcategory?

Hi. Been away for a while. In response to your questions:
People should use this category because they play Windwalker (it’s fast become my favorite) and there isn’t a whole lot out there for the category

Don’t really know how it is different from the other categories other than that it is unique in that it resembles other categories but does not replicate the play. Also, I understand that WWM can synthesize with the other Monk categories, which I think is also unique in the game. I’m at L79 and will be going to Brewmaster next.

Topics can and will of course go everywhere, but it would be helpful to emphasize combat play. I find generally that I use a few buttons, and when I can be certain of cooldown relationships I would suggest probably two play sequences.

And I think we do need the separate categories for WWM, Brewmaster and Mistweaver (I’ve not played healers yet so I’m saving it for last). And just as a note, I greatly enjoy playing Pandarens. They have good movement and movement speed, and they’re fun to watch. I’ve played WoW for about 15 years, mostly because I have fun with it. Pandarens are nothing if not fun.
