:shield: Midnight Protection Paladin Sequence

Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

Sharing my Midnight sequence for Protection Paladin. This setup is defaulted to Auto, but offers flexibility depending on how much control you want over your big cooldowns.

Features

  • Auto-Mode: Automatically casts Divine Toll and Avenging Wrath/Sentinel on cooldown.
  • Manual-Mode: You retain control; simply macro, keybind, or click Divine Toll and Avenging Wrath/Sentinel yourself.
  • Shift + Mouseover: Casts Intercession (Battle Rez) on your target.
  • Alt + Mouseover: Casts Word of Glory (WoG) on your mouseover target. If no valid mouseover exists, it defaults to healing yourself.

This build is specifically optimized for Mythic+. For Raids, I recommend adjusting based on your group’s specific utility needs. This is my flavor, feel free to adjust talents to your liking.

:keyboard: Configuration & Keybinds

These are the binds I personally find most comfortable, but feel free to swap them to your liking!

[!IMPORTANT] This sequence requires modifier keybinds to function correctly. I found that the macros were only reliable when both Shift and Alt modifiers were active.

  • Main Key: I use R, but any key works.
  • Modifiers: Ensure your Shift and Alt keys are unmapped from other functions so the mouseover heals/brez work flawlessly.
