Resto Druid: Optimized Focus-Healing & DPS Support

This setup is designed to maximize uptime through a focus-based priority system while keeping your mouse free for reactive utility and finishers.

:herb: Healing

The core of this setup is keeping your tank (Focus) stable while allowing for quick mouseover reactions.

  • Primary Sequence: Automatically maintains Wild Growth, Lifebloom, on your Focus target, if invalid will cast on yourself
  • Mouseover will keep up regrowth.
  • Integrated Cooldowns: Uses Nature’s Swiftness, Swiftmend, Innervate and Barkskin within the rotation.
  • The Shift Modifier:
    • Dead Party Member: Casts Rebirth on your mouseover target.
    • Alive Target: Casts Rejuvenation on your mouseover target.
  • Manual CDs: Use Convoke the Spirits, Tranquility and Ironbark at your own discretion based on the fight phase.

Contribute to the group’s damage without letting your HoTs fall off.

  • Background Healing: The sequence will cast Wild Growth and Lifebloom at your Focus (defaults to yourself if no focus exists).
  • Finishers:
    • Hold SHIFT: Casts Ferocious Bite.
    • Hold ALT: Casts Rip.
  • Manual CDs: Use Convoke the Spirits, Tranquility and Ironbark at your own discretion based on the fight phase.

I might try it out on my Druid, once ive done my weekly stuff on my main.

Tried it out for a while, the dps sequence hangs up often. Mostly used in BGs which isn’t a good place for resto druids to go anyway. The healing is decent enough for where the class sits right now in PVP. Haven’t healed pve with it yet tho.

@wholehorse I built it with PVE M+ in mind as that is all I do.

DPS was getting hung up (not sure why as it had worked before I exported it) but I updated the OP with an updated DPS sequence that shouldn’t hang.

I have not healed before, but this took my ilvl 215 resto druid through 7x m0s last night.

I didnt use the DPS rotation, but the healing one is nice

the healing would def be better if I had switched to a raid healing build, but its LFR so I just stayed in M+ setup.

i keep trying to reinvent the wheel and make resto boomkin weaving a thing. its still not. you do just as much damage popping in once a fight to heart of the wild in cat form wildstalker as you do cast weaving the whole time
