This is a modification of Elfau’s prot warrior macro. I take no credit other than slight modifications. Normally I’d just post it in his thread but it felt like there were enough modifications to justify a new thread altogether.
Game Play
Tested up to a +11. No deaths and survived what was a wipe.
Battle scarred Veteran can be swapped out for Booming voice for more damage but I prefer the cheat death.

I’ve had a couple of messages asking what this macro is capable of. The following is Version 1 in Protective Stance at 386 ilvl with no tier on the cleave dummies. IP had 100% uptime once cast.
This is the breakdown against Boulderfist. I ended up dying at 23 stacks.
Added a video against Boulderfist the tank dummy. There was some poor calls on CD usages on my part and I used Booming voice instead of Punish which may have resulted in lasting longer at the expense of slightly lower dps. Towards the end he was really chewing through IP, I may need to make a high IP version as well.
You can see some slow usage particularly of the longer CD’s. I think in the next version I will add a modifier to use /castsequence [mod:shift, @player] Avatar, Ravager, Shield Charge this way you can increase uptime on them. Removing them entirely from the main macro would speed up usage on everything else and perhaps prevent the occasional rage cap you see.
I may also need to add a modifier for either Thunder Clap or Revenge to use on pull as in high keys this has lead to two deaths with people pulling aggro because it doesn’t use an aoe on pull. This is hard to manage in a macro as there are several pulls were it takes a couple of seconds to group them up and you don’t want to blow your aoe and not hit most of the mobs.
That would be awesome, I do like having control over especially revenger. I ended up putting pummel on a separate key and it fires fine during your macro rotation. So my shift key is unbound atm.
something i tried to mess with was /castsequence [combat] reset=nocombat Shield Slam, null inside the keydown variable, this should make it so the macro pretty much only starts once we get into melee and shield slam preventing thunder clapping mid charge and hitting nothing. not sure if there is a better way to do this since i heard this is very error prone.
Hermit, your macro is BEAUTIFUL WELL DONE! Im using that for M+ mostly. Up to 12+ even that 3rd boss in Jade. impressive. Ill test this for Raid tonight.

It ran great for me in pugs up to a 15. At that point is when you have to start manually using your longer CD’s and timing them for boss abilities on Tyrannical weeks.
I know I got one shot by the 3rd boss of TJS on a +15 because I didn’t have a defensive up during the absorb. For that you want shield block up and than Impending victory every other one and use a long cd on every even cast.
