Any macros out there?

Does anyone have an updated macro for augmentation?

From what I can tell about how Augmentation is played, it is not really a spec where a fixed sequence works well. A lot of what you do is situational and depends on what is happening in the key at any given moment. Because of that, you cannot just follow a set rotation and expect it to perform optimally.

Unfortunately, I do not think you will find many people using a strict sequence for Augmentation. If you want something that comes close, the closest option would probably be Blizzard’s single-button assist feature. Even then, you still need to actively pay attention to what is going on.

Most of the time, you will need to react to the situation, especially when it comes to abilities like Upheaval and Breath. These need to be used based on timing, positioning, and what your group is doing, rather than following a fixed order.

Is there a way to do the basic rotation without the upheaven and fire breath that I can control manually?

I’m working on one for M+ that was working well before the 12.0.5 update. I’m testing it now and will post in the next few days.

This is what Ive used and it works pretty well for me. I run it at 150ms. You have to make your own macro though because I don’t know how to export it lol.

nice to hear hope i can try it out soon

will try this one too ty <3

As I lifetime lurker on this site, I just created an account and don’t have a ‘new topic’ button. As soon as I figure that out I’ll post it.

aah okay i get it ill be waiting then and if ur not finding it then dont be shy to post the string here so i can try it out

any way to manually control Ebon might, fire breat and uphaven?

just remove them from the gse and use them manually

Yes i tried but it has SBA in the block so i don’t know how to remove it cause it’s tied to the single button assistant

You see, Frankie, the thing is that what you just described about wanting to manually control Ebon Might, Fire Breath, and Upheaval is already most of the core rotation for an Augmentation Evoker. If you want to manually handle those three abilities, you might as well learn the full basic rotation, because the spec is actually quite simple.

The downside is that sequences are not very effective for Augmentation. The spec is heavily situational. It depends on positioning, timing, and awareness of who needs what buff or cooldown. You cannot just press a single button and expect the sequence to handle everything correctly, especially things like choosing the right target for buffs or using Upheaval at the right moment rather than blowing it on a single mob.

Because of this, sequences will only ever reliably fire off Preservation, Eruption, Living Flame, and maybe Blistering Scales. All the abilities you actually want to control are the ones a sequence should not automate.

So honestly, the best thing you can do is just learn to play the class manually. It is straightforward once you understand the flow. I would recommend checking YouTube for rotation guides and gameplay examples. Watching how the spec is played will teach you far more than trying to force a sequence to handle something it is simply not designed to do.

In my opinion, you will get far better results by learning the class yourself rather than trying to automate most of it.
