Any new builds running Aldrachi for 11.1?

Seems like most of the development has been pretty stale, or has moved into patreon support territory. Curious if anyone has been dabbling with the new rotations using Aldrachi and want some help testing out. I’ve still had pretty good success with Araemis’ and playing with Krom right now, but little bit of work to get them transferred over to the new suggested builds.

If there are any good macros behind a paywall, I’d consider

So I’ve had the same issue and I decided to get to work on my own, spent several hours testing stuff yesterday and trying to figure out how to make a macro that works. I’m by no means an expert but I’m happy enough with the result, here’s what I made so far if it can help someone.

Talents, essentially the wowhead low mover mythic reaver build with a couple utility choices:

CEkAEDLOxe3SEPP2R8Hw6bhoSYmZmZmZGjZmZMzMhZGAAAAAAwsYmxMDzMbjZ2wyMDmZYssNbzghx2GTyMegZGwC

How to use:

Just spam the general rotation one. It will go through most basic skills and uses no modifiers, however i excluded some as I like to have control over them. So vengeful retreat isn’t part of the macro, neither is Felblade as I don’t like to randomly charge into nasty stuff.

The AOE one is actually the burst macro, it’s made to go through the AOE burst: Eye beam, trying to use Essence Break afterwards, then trying to do Annihilation and Death Sweep properly. it works to some extent but is far from perfect as I couldn’t find a way to keep a precise skill order reliably. I usually spam the general one then spam the burst one for the duration of Eye Beam transformation, then back to general.

I don’t like to use modifiers myself but you can easily add modifiers and skills to the sequences, so far it works well especially in single target (got up to 92% of sim on dummy), also tested in a mythic and it works well. Haven’t found any hangups either.

The general rotation macro has several versions but the most effective one is the 3rd, it should be set as default, can ignore the 1 and 2 or use them to make your own tries.

I use it at 125ms.

It’s not very polished and was made for my own use but hopefully it helps or can be a good base for someone more knowledgeable, feel free to modify it or reuse it as you want as a community project, more brains are always better than one.

I hope formatting is okay, no idea how to do better, first post here

neither of the imports work for some reason

Trying to figure out how it works, seems like the right click > export doesn’t work indeed, any idea why ?

Edit: Ok reloading the UI fixed it for whatever reason it messed up the export. Fixed the code above, it should work now.

got it… I’ll let you know.

you just have meta and sigil of spite on a separate key bind?

Sigil of Spite is thrown as part of the main rotation for soul generation, vengeful retreat/felblade/meta are separate, as well as the interrupts, stuns, fel rush, whatever you usually don’t want to spam randomly. I use mouse keybinds for them, I usually set my main rotation as macros on all characters then prefer to use other keys for the situational skills.

It’s easy enough to add them as modifiers though or remove whatever from the macro if you need.

Updated version of the burst macro:

After a couple mythics I found the first version didn’t work nearly as well as I’d like. New one is much more reliable on the dummy, about 90% of the time it will go through Eye Beam, Essence Break, then Anni, Sweep, Anni. When it fails, it will still cast EssB after the first Anni so it doesn’t entirely go to waste. Gonna test this one in a variety of encounters now to make sure it’s proven in real combat.

I have been struggling to find a macro or seq. that works. Running Reaver, i have Throw Glaive in my sequence, and it works, but after it turns into Reaver’s Glaive, … Throw Glaive does not fire, i have to manually press the Throw Gaive button that got changed and then it moves back to the Throw Glaive icon and starts working again. if I put Reaver’s Glaive in the sequence, it never fires… anything. . not sure why its not working. what I want. is a castsequence or something that will fire off Throw Glaive or if Reaver’s Glaive is up/active, fire that one. cant seem to get it to work. any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

What’s your current item level and haste at?

that’s interesting. I’ll keep a look out for that. There is an expectation of throwing the Reaver’s Glaive when appropriate. I’ll have to take a look at any WAs that could help

Ilvl 620 and 7.46 haste (4921).

Currently working on improving the main rotation macro, trying different ways to write it so any feedback on first iteration will be useful.

You can use:

/targetenemy [noharm]
/cast [nochanneling, known:Reaver’s Glaive] Throw Glaive

In a block, it throws Reaver’s Glaive when available but will not use the standard Throw Glaive.

for me it did not work, it changed the “Throw Glaive” on the end to Reaver’s Glaive , and did not fire off? i found a wa that would let me know when RG is up/active and just bound it to the same button/key that throw glaive is using. . throw glaive works all day long, just when RG activates, it wont cast either in GSE for me, i have to hit the key bind and then Throw glaive starts working again. strange.

Not sure what you mean here, Reaver’s Glaive is a transformation of Throw Glaive.

So if you use a basic:

/targetenemy [noharm]
/cast [nochanneling] Throw Glaive

It should use TG as default, but when the RG proc is up it will cast RG instead of TG, then back to TG spam.

And if you use:

/targetenemy [noharm]
/cast [nochanneling, known:Reaver’s Glaive] Throw Glaive

It will never cast TG, but will cast RG when it’s available. You can test them on a basic wow macro to see if it works, you need Fury to cast TG though. It pretty much replicates the skill button itself that works like that.
