This is a simple Arcane Mage one button macro, designed for players utilizing the Starter Build talent.

Usage Information

Made @250ms
Any Modifier Key: Arcane Missiles

First create a character specific macro and name it MAGEARCANEOB

You may need to delete the WTF folder to reset everything to clear out old macro errors, but you will lose all the settings by doing this!

Tried this and it does rotate through spells but none of them fire off, probably user error

Ok i figured out my error . I didnt make macro character specific. Working now :+1:

I tried this on my Warrior and got like 600k dps. :slight_smile: … Thanks for this one… gives me a better idea of how to run Arcane. Have always played Frost and never rally tried Arc.

Thanks for this. It appears to work fine, but it’s gen’ing the dreaded Broken Macro error. Not your fault. Neat that you figured out how to make the macro clickable.

I was able to import this one following your instructions but all it does is cast mirror image and locks up?

You may need to watch OAK’s video, there are additional settings you need to adjust.

Troubleshooting

ActionButtonUseKeyDown should be unchecked

Force CVar State should be KeyUp

Hi there, I get this message when I Import, Broken Macro MagearcaneOB was unable to be programmed. This macro will not fire until errors in the macro are corrected.

                                If it’s not working like it did when I first tried it make sure when you create wow macro you’re doing it on character specific macro. Esc, click macros then top right of box it says character specific macro.

Hey if you add a [nochanneling] to the arcane missiles it wont overwrite the other. Right?

So, dumb question, what is the macro for and im guessing i bind it to a different key and spam w/e keybind for the sequence? First time trying to learn/figure this out.

I’ve actually paused playing WoW for now, so I’m not using any hero talents at the moment.

I dont have the option to ‘Force CVar state’ there is no pull down? have ai done something wrong?

I put the macro on my bar on key 7, running an ahk loop tied to my middle button on my mouse. when i hit a modifier key to get Arcane missiles to fire, it gives no response. i have to jam my mm on keyboard to squeeze in during sequence.

This was removed from GSE, and is now KeyUp by default. You’re fine.
