Balance All in One - prepatch

  1. Make sure to go to GSE options => TroubleShooting => turn off ActionButtonUseKeyDown and change Force CVar State to KeyUp.

  2. In wow Copy/Create this macro and bind it to your spam key, for me this is the mouse scroll up button.

  1. Spamming the macro uses single target wrath and starsurge default, holding alt while spamming the macro casts aoe starfire and starfall default. I also use a weakaura to check when i should cast the correct one for the solor and lunar eclipse mini games.
Celestial Alignment…, the shift modifier is needed if you prefer the talent Orbital Strike (i cannot figure out how to do @cursor stuff in the sequence itself so i put this in the click macro instead.
I chose greater alignment atm so i could ignore the @cursor nonsense but i left it in the shift modifier as an example. Moonfire, Sunfire at start/newtarget, i reapply those manually.

Enjoy.

Quick Question how dose your AHK Code look because with mine if i press alt it dosent switch to AOE

Hi, i am not using AHK as its not using WoW API. Its probably not on the watch list but im not risking it. I bind the macro mentioned in 2 on my mouse scroll up button and scroll up all the time, works fine and it gives me control.

I See thx will try it out but nice work

Ty, the skills are in the M_AOE and M_ST sequences. Open /gse to see the sequence and change if you want.
Watch this video from Oak also (he has more tutorials)=> Anyone Can Do This! Basic Sequence Tutorial - GSE 3.2 (youtube.com)

For users playing in other languages.

Everything works!

Spells by spell number in the button macro does not work, therefore it is necessary to register in the language of the game client.

Thank you for the work done!

I will add…

Using trinkets and other items must be written in the macro as well as in the natural name.

im confused

that first macro-- you are saying to bind it tot he same key that we activate the GSE macro too?

IE for the past few week ive been using [ as the button to activate the sequences.
how do we bind that 1st macro tot he same key we bind to the GSE macro

Create/Copy the macro
Import the GSE sequences
Bind the macro to a key you are using, for me its the mouse scroll up button or in your case the [
This macro calls the GSE M_AOE and M_ST sequences as you can see perhaps, no need to bind the GSE sequences extra.

I do not use AHK or any other mouse/keyboard automation software.
Watch the tutorial mentioned if you don’t understand.

Thanks for the macro, works well. I do experience a side issue, most probably nothing to do with your macro but i will post it here anyways in case someone else is having a similar issue. Essentially, I assign a key (ex: [)to your GSE macro, and as suggested I also created your wow macro and bind it to my spam key (ex:[) which is key binded to my action bar 3 button 1.

When I run the macro the first time, all is good, but after exiting the fight, my action bar 3 button 1 keybinds gets reset to not bound. Curious if anyone has experienced the same issue.

Edit: Ok resolved it. I was binding both the GSE macro and the wow macro to the same key. I re-read your post and it solved it, essentially binding the spam key to the wow macro that you posted, but NOT binding any key to the GSE macro.

I’m not sure if it has anything to do specifically with this macro, or it’s just a bug being worked out with GSE as a whole, but this is the macro that I’m getting the error with so thought I’d post this here. That error just keeps spamming over and over. Even exited the game and came back in, still spamming this on my chat.

Sorry, can’t reproduce that error. Maybe try to delete / re-import again.
And make sure to follow the steps only, just to be sure.

I am liking this macro quite a bit! I am wondering, how do you deal with convoke being interupted by the next block in the macro? I have had issues in the past using Convoke in macros as they would get cut of by the next spell. I had hoped a wait or sleep function could have been added to let long channeled spells go off properly.

Actually, I am noticing the channels are not getting cut here. Is that a setting you used in the block or did blizzard make it so channeled spells wont be cliped unless cancelled with escape etc? Either way, i’m ecstatic, I can have convoke in my macros again!

Hi yes, its because i have the [nochanneling] in the click macro.
Basically that means it won’t fire off another click until the channeling is done.

love this script!

Will you be making any more for othr classes at all?

I’m getting this error with M_AOE as well. No other GSE macro I’ve imported as shown it. It seems it might be related to not having certain abilities that are in the macro? or if they’re not in “macro blocks”? not sure. I’m on a low-level druid at the moment, I don’t even have a spec. I’ll update if/when it goes away.

edit: it went away as soon as I chose Balance spec at level 10.

That’s kind of a clutch requirement as one of the first lines in the macro shapeshifts to moonkin. As you learn abilities this will begin to function more.

Honestly below level 60 you don’t need a macro…

it didn’t have an issue with the WoW Macro. Obviously it didn’t do anything without that ability. However the GSE macro was giving errors, which other macros don’t (in my experience) do even at levels when you don’t have the abilities.

And I definitely agree you don’t need a macro at that level, I’m just lazy and levelling alts during the pre-expansion event, and I find it easier to just grab a macro when I make the character. Hasn’t been an issue until this one.
