Balance macro for M+ (GSE 3.1.28, Patch 10.0.2, Level 70)

Hi guys,

I got fed up with all the different macros not working exactly like I expected them to, so I created my own.

It’s quite simple using a sequential loop and a bunch of variables.

I use Fore’s Druid Auras.

Give if it a try and let me know of any problems!

Kind regards,
Markus

Usage Information

  1. All DoTs are applied to a new target automatically.
  2. Press Ctrl to refresh them on the same target, before they run out.
  3. When engaging multiple targets, hold Alt for Starfall and Shift for Starfire.
  4. Fury of Elune is used on cooldown during combat.

Make sure to use all other cooldowns manually, e.g. Convoke the Spirits, Solar Beam or Incarnation.

This macro contains 1 macro template. This Sequence was exported from GSE 3.1.28.

Noticed some issue with that and repasted the correct one into GSE, before reexporting.

Should be fixed now!

Can you split this in Standard and AoE ?

Not a fan of that myself, but sure:

You’ll still reset the DoTs with Alt and alternate Wrath and Starfire with Shift.

hello and thanks for the macro I would say excellent, but the modified.
1-I removed from the hard skin macro a defensive cd for use in my opinion at specific precise moments, in macro he will use it as a cd wasting it.
2-not loving modifiers I created a single version with lunar so that now I will use the suitable version based on the eclyssi proc .ao and left it as it was .

hi , can u make this macro , without using the alt for reset dots , i mean , a macro wich refresh dots automatic without using alt ; if its possible , tks

I prefer having more direct control over dots. You might try a separate simple CastSequence macro for the moon/sunfires etc. I often strip most of these out of macros I use since I button smash rather than use repeating macros with KB apps.

Gamers can you share your version I’d relly like a single button too.

Made some additional changes to my balance macro based on my latest logs and tests.

I don’t intend to ever add dots firing automatically after the initial application. Sorry!

Ey, can you try to repost now?

Ah, fuck it. I did edit in a working update for 10.0.2!

Thanks!
For some reason I cant get any of the modifiers to work :frowning:

Edit: Not entirely true, ctrl works to reset dots, but shifting from wrath to starfire does not work…

You only have to press Ctrl, while Alt and Shift have to be held to change the rotation.

if you’re using elvui go under actionbars and under general there is a hold option its default is shift which is holding shift you will move buttons on action bars change that to none and modifiers should work not sure why it messes with modifiers but it happens to a lot of people with elvui and gse

Thanks alot!
Yeah that solved it

Any update on the talents? they seem out of date, thank you in advance

I adjusted my builds based on the latest Dreamgrove discussions and hope to have an updated Balance macro out soon.
