OK guys, first off a little about me. i have been playing WOW on and off for 10 years since vanilla and have allays loved the macro system. I allays set up whatever character i am playing with soem kind of macros. Since WOD i have been maining my prot war and finally got my macros where i want them. I usualy only share my work with my friends but i think my WOW days are comingto a close soon. So here is my prot war macro all ready to go.
I have been working out the kinks and all the problem with this for a long time.
So here is the best possible bar switch macro for prot warriors for 6.2 and beyond.

Talents: 2 1 1 2 3 2 3 these for the most part can be changed to whatever you want. Worked Shockwave dragon roar and storm bolt switch into the macro, so it changes when u change your spec.

Glyphs: Unending Rage , Resonating Power , Wind and Thunder. once again you can change these to suit what you want and your play style.

So now for he meat and potatoes the macro. This is overall a 3 button 6 bar switch macro.
Bar 1 will be your sub one min cooldowns. Bar 2 is your spam bar, most of your ability’s and bar 3 is your proverbial o shit button with the long defensive cd’s.

This is macro number 1. This will be number 1 on you keyboard. You will pop at the beginning of fights when you have threat and every 30 seconds or so there after. its your medium length cooldowns.

This is macro 2 all your spam able ability’s on your bar, this will be number 2 on your key board.
This will be the main button you spam on your keyboard.

i set up my Q as my Enraged regeneration

I set up my Shift Q Vigilance, This works as long as you set the other tank or healer as your focus

I set up as my E, Heroic Strike as a rage dump or if you want to go unyielding strikes.

I set up as my Shift E, Hamstring for when i pvp as glad.

As my Shift 1, i use this as a start to the fight and to be able to use shockwave on demand.

Shift 2 is charge
Shift 3 is heroic throw
Shift 4 is Taunt
Shift 5 is Leap
Shift 6 is intervene/ Safeguard set at the focus just like the vigilance.

PS. i use a razer mmo mouse and 1-6 is set to the button on the mouse. on last this is when
shield block is on cool down or im vs a caster, i run a Button 5 with shield barrier as a rage dump.
You would set up either your bar 4 or 5 whatever is easier the same as Macro number 2, the only difference would be this would replace button 1
