/cast [@target] SPELL NAME doesn't work?

I’m trying to have Final Reckoning (Retribution Paladin Spell) fire off on my target rather than being a press and click the floor with my mouse spell.

Any ideas?

you simply can’t target a target WITH the area effect spell such as that or Wild Spirits…think of it as rather than aiming at their feet, you’re telling the spell to focus the targets belt…don’t work that way sadly.

Can only use [@player] or [@cursor] for aoe abilities.
