*12/23/17- Update
I have made some minor changes to address an issue where Regrowth was not casting as intended (check the changelog).
I have Re-Posted DarkKitty(1) as some users have requested in the second comment
I have added some pre-formatted version in the third comment that include setups for Standard UI, Bartender 4 and ElvUI users.
Merry Christmas!

issue sorted
Can’t get either of these to work. When I have time I will try to record whats happening but it appears to hang for a while then restarts. I can’t figure out why.
It does this with both versions.
update…
Looks like I am getting energy starved. Which caused it to just sit there. Which means when it sits I am not getting combo points. I am finding it hard to get a steady flow going with these macros unlike the Demon hunter ones.
Any help is appreciated.
Also, why are these lines in the macro when we are firing the finishers by mod or button?
/cast [talent:6/1,combat] Ferocious Bite
/castsequence [talent:6/2,combat] reset=combat Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Rip
/castsequence [talent:6/3,combat] reset=combat Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar, Rip, Ferocious Bite, Savage Roar
Hello.
I can not make it make [Regrowth] just before Rip die, is that me doing the wrong thing or?
Thank you very much for this marco
Ok think I got this mostly working. Only thing that I see now it its not casting Rip. Its is hitting all the other points but seems to skip Rip. Any help appreciated. If I need to post anything please let me know.
Update! : Ok did something that got that working. One last question though. It spams two errors:
You are in shapeshift form and also Target too close.
I’m assuming the first is something to do with the regrowth macro and am looking into that but haven’t figured it out.
Any help appreciated.
In short using this for my AHK:
#ifWinActive World of Warcraft
{
$1::
$^1::
$+1::
$!1::
Loop
{
if not GetKeyState(“1”, “P”)
break
if GetKeyState(“LCtrl”, “P”)
Send ^1
else if GetKeyState(“LShift”, “P”)
Send +1
else if GetKeyState(“LAlt”, “P”)
Send !1
else
Send 1
sleep 150
}
return
}

Sorry I have not been around much lately busy with the Holidays and such, so sorry for the delay but I am glad that you seemed to have been able to sort your issues.
As for the errors, I’m afraid that is just part of life in terms of this. I turn errors off (even before GSE as I hated the infernal “you can’t cast that!” or “You must be behind your target”) to avoid that but otherwise you just have to live with it. I’ll give a brief explanation as to why:
-
The “you are in shapeshift form” error is indeed due to the Regrowth macro and here is why. Since there is no way for GSE (or any macro for that matter) to be able to tell when something has proc’d and then perform an ability based on that proc we have 2 options.
a. We insert spell casts of the spell that we want throughout the macro attempting to best guess when we could have a proc.
b. We ask it to attempt to fire the spell every key press.
I have gone the option b. route attempting to cast the spell every key press but I force it to only do so in kitty form and not step out of form and hard cast it which is what would happen if you just hit the Regrowth button from your spell book without a proc (I did not come up with the code for this, I borrowed it from a previous author. I’m not sure who actually originally developed this as many authors were using it at one point but whoever the originator of this was deserves a Genius star). In short the macro is trying to cast Regrowth every button press but because of the conditions that are set it will only be able to cast when you have a Predatory Swiftness proc but since it is “trying” and failing to meet the conditions you get the in-game error speech. -
The “Your Target is to close” error is probably result of it attempting to cast Wild Charge (my guess, but if not this then something similar) and is this way for similar reasons as above. It’s attempting to cast the spell every key press but will only fire if the conditions are met (in this case you must be at range) otherwise it fails and wow sends the error speech.
Hope this helps

- I assume that you are attempting to run the Bloodtalons talent? Which is why you are concerned with when specifically to cast Regrowth? If this is the case I’m going to need more information.
a. Which version are you attempting to use? if its the version 1 “one button version” then the answer is “I’m sorry, I’ve tried to force it to cast prior to Rip/Rake casts as best I can but due to the limitations surrounding ‘casting a spell based on a proc’ conversation that has been discussed in depth several times over across all of the forums, it’s never going to be 100% and sometimes it may not do very well at all”.
If you are using version 2 (Where you press modifiers for spenders) then it should cast Regrowth when you press the mod button and before it casts Rip/Rake. If that is not the case please make sure that you are using the latest update as I changed some lines of code surrounding this scenario recently (see above comments or the changelog). If it is still an issue then I will need to revisit it. (I personally never run Bloodtalons so I have attempted to include the dynamic as best that I can anticipate I have not extensively tested its handling right now).
b. I assume that it is casting Regrowth? just not when you would like it to do so? If it is not casting at all then that is another issue that I can work with you to resolve.
I’d like to add that the difference between Moment of Clarity and Blood Talons is minimal at best in most situations that I have either encountered and or SIM’d. Because of the limitations of a macro in general I would highly recommend just running MoC as it is much easier to manage in this environment unless you can specifically justify running Bloodtalons (ie. you sim much much higher and by much higher I mean like 300-400k higher as the handling of Bloodtalons is so in-efficient compared to MoC). But if your heart is set on running BT then I would recommend taking the Regrowth handling lines out of my macro and use the button manually.
Those lines are in Version 1 (Model1) of the macro because that version is intended to be a “one button” version that you are not suppose to have to fire the spenders with a mod button for. (Though in fairness I still have included the modifier calls in the first version just in case you need to help it a bit. In earlier iterations this was more of an issue than it is now).
The lines should not/are not (to my knowledge) in version 2 (Model2) as you are truly responsible for casting your spenders using modifiers when you use that version(Model).
I have the problem that with me the sound always goes off

I know that we already talked in Discord about this and that you had already found the solution. I just wanted to follow up for anybody reading this that the issue is usually related to your GSE settings with the Errors on/off
any update to raiding ?
is not working for me it keeps switching in and out from cat form
I have some things in the works, I just need to find the time to sit down and finalize a few things and then test.
I’m not sure where to begin with this one. As far as I know this does not happen to anyone else, and I cannot reproduce the problem. Give me some information to go on and I will try and reason out what the problem is.
- what level is your toon?
- which macro?
- What talents
- What gear?
- What content? (Training dummys? World? Dungeon? Raid?)
- when in game and running the macro type /gs debug and activate the debugger. what does it say that it is trying to successfully/unsuccessfully cast?
- silly question I know…But you are in Feral spec yes?
I may have more questions, but I think that covers most of the things that I can think of right off.
I think this is an only working feral macro other macros just hang for no reason thank you for this macro
Heya and thanks for the amazing macros. Need a little assistance though when using horn of valor. When its used it gives me this “your already in shapeshift form” and wont do anything, any assistance?
I love this macro and have been trying several variations and all are doing great. I wanted to request, if you have the time, to split this macro into three high performance variations; which I believe will satisfy the raid requests I have seen in this thread.
Given the nature of Feral, I am doing all combo spenders manually, which was outlined in DK2 and I dont feel that needs to be changed. The request is to have three spammer options allowing us to adapt as the fights change.
Macro 1:
Cleave AoE Macro [Talented 1/1; 6/2] (Brutal Slash, Thrash Spam, Rake) [M+ Trash/High Command/Etc)
Macro 2:
Cleave Boss Macro [Talented 1/1; 6/2] (Brutal Slash, Thrash Dot, Rake, Shred Spam) [M+ Boss/High Command/Etc)
Macro 3:
True Single Target [Talented 1/3; 6;3] (Moonfire, Rake, Shred, Savage Roar)
