Dek's Low-Mover Havoc (New Sequence for Season 3) 6 Sept. '25

Hey folks, giving the DH a whirl. I am still in the early stages of gearing but this sequence simmed well so I figured Id post it here for yall to play around with. It is a rather simple and naive sequence, but seems to be working well. Simply spam the key for the core rotation, and hold shift to meta when you need a burst. Be aware also the sequence will cast the hunt and felblade, both of which will snap you to your target, so be mindful of spamming it when you need that to not happen. The sequence also requires you to be in combat to fire, so manually attack (or get attacked) to activate it. I usually open with a fel rush into melee range.

I’d love feedback and recommendations on how to improve the sequence. Thanks in advance!

Sim (5 Target patchwerk) vs 5 minute test on the dummies in Dornogal: 98% of Sim

These are done at 660 ilvl with bad weapons, S2 trinkets, and no tier, so I expect the numbers to go up substantially, but its where I am starting.

For optimal play, youll want to hold meta until you’ve just hit eye beam so as to keep in demon form as long as possible and to take advantage of the cooldown reset. You may also need to watch your eyebeam cooldown and let some fury pool if you are low. This is something I want to improve in a future version of the sequence.

Testing this out now with 4/4 tier set, your sigil of spite needs an @player control but other than that seems good. I prefer control over eyebeam so put that onto a modifier. will update shortly with figures

Update** Sigil of Flame needs a @player control too, but tested and simming 7.2m on 5 add cleave, maintaining 7.8m+ 5 adds so doing well

Thank you for the feedback, I’m glad it’s working for you! I took it into a 2 key and got smoked by some higher ilvl dps but ended at 1.9m overall which I think is pretty good for my ilvl (660).

I elected to give up felfire haste (10% movement speed after fel rush) for precise sigils (sigils fire at my target location). The sigils were correctly firing at my target in my testing, is that a talent choice you did differently?

Possible to remove Meta (to press manually) since it’s locks up the macro

It is possible to remove, but how do you mean it locks up the sequence? removing it is as simple as removing the second line from each action block, but there are no castsequences and everything else is on a nomod so i don’t see how it could be locking.

this is my talent choice

I’m not sure what I am doing wrong I’ve imported the gse string and loaded your talents. When I bind the key it’s not firing off at all unless i first auto attack or use an ability then the sequence runs with no issues untill the next mobpack/boss when i need to use an ability again first or auto attack. I have also checked the trouble shooting and made sure Actionbuttonusekeydown is not checked. Any idea what might be stopping it ? Also i’ve diisabled all other addons as well and it’s still not firing off unless i initiate an attrack.

it’s because its set to only work in combat, to prevent pulling unneeded mobs or accidentally pulling other packs. etc.

Ahh ok tyvm  appreciate the speedy response

Also no glaive throw and such ?

As mentioned, it is still in early testing, so it might not be perfect yet. I threw every ability from the wowhead recommended rotation page into a sequence, spent about half an hour balancing and moving them around, and when I tested I did very well compared to sim, so I thought I’d post it and see what people think. Ive since gained about 20 ilvls and its still going strong for me, but if you have specific weaknesses for the sequence Id love to take it into consideration for a future version of the sequence.

(and throw glaive is in block 6)

Dek, hi. Is it possible to make a macro that would work in other languages?

Hello, I am Chinese. I cannot activate the one-click macro when using it, and it still doesn’t work even after I repeatedly bind it to other keys. Do you know what the reason might be?

I do not know why this wouldn’t work for you, or in other languages, as I believe GSE saves the spells via spell ID so they should be independent of language.

Great sequence, only tested in a +4 key however - it sometimes locks up after a pack or boss and wont fire off until I do a /reload. Dont know why, but other than that it seems to work fine. I took out The Hunt to use manual, changed Meta modifier to ctrl and added interrupt modifier on Shift.

as for the dungeon results, tank was meh and did bad pulls. but overall on +4 floodgate at 700 ilvl,
4,6m overall dps. Would have been higher if better pulls, and it didnt lock up just throwing glaives at some points.

Thanks for the feedback! Ill look into it locking up but have no idea why that would happen as it is a very simple sequence. ill see if I can find any reason why it should with how DH spells work.

Maybe it just got stuck in a loop of throwing glaives wasting fury, not sure tbh lmao. But will definitely look forward to any updates
