hi i would jsut like to know why i cannot edit the sequence when i post it. like i prefer manually controlling my axe toss and felstorm. i’ve gone in several times and click save over and over and it doesn’t seem to stick. i have even done Save>/reload>/gse and it’s written in the original form. so does this mean players cannot custom the gse written here to there own preferences?

Thanks for testing it out. Ctrl fires off pretty well for me. I am curious if it’s only my macro that you are having issues with. The issue may be that control Is bound to other keybinds which would prevent This from casting. Also adding that use control might also affect this.

people are claiming the affl macro is working fine but its not working for me… so ill go back and check my bindings again
reset keybinds to default and the ctrl key in the demo macro and in the afl macro are not working.
Also disabled all mods but GSE and still not functioning with the ctrl key modifier
ctrl c and paste work outside of wow… I have even did the keyboard reinstall and teh sfc/scannow command but to no avail ctrl does not want to work with the macros for some odd reason
The issue for any others having this problem was teh ctr1 key in the pet menu prevented it once i changed the ctr1 keybind it reverted back to working

Assuming you have the most up to date version of GSE (2.3.4) I might imagine that another addon might be the issue. Try turning off all addons and their associated macro (if they use macros) and then try using gse.
Example: I used VuhDo alot and at one point it popped up on my warlock. It comes with alt,ctrl,shift key mods for its UI. I turned off the addon and had issues with GSE (this was BFA Pre-Patch so many addons were not updated). After turning it off the macro I was using still froze. I then typed “/macro” went to character specific macros and found some from that addon there. Deleted the addons macros and my gse started working better.

Well a few things here.
-1. its the talk of the Warlock discord and the wow town that Demonology is alot of fun to play BUT its dps numbers are closer to the bottom of the pack. Hopefully they will be tuned well on live when BFA and Azerite gear comes out (we will see).
-2. GSE is good but its not going to out push a professional out of its place because this isn’t a decision making macro, its a high performing cast sequence. I try to make it do as much dps and make it look as cool as possible. But right now demonology is beautiful but not so fierce, especially compared to Destruction and Affliction right now. It also loses out against many other classes right now. Hoping blizz changes that.
