Dionysus37's Lightsmith Prot Pally - 1dmg macro + 1 def macro - TWW 11.0.5

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
I don’t like using modifiers since I tend to use a lot of keybinds for most of my abilities to be used on demand. Instead of changing the way I learned to play to fit GSE macros, I decided to create my own sequences to fit my playstyle. I was originally using Orbalisk’s macro and based mine off of his. His can be found here:

Orbalisk’s WLM Prot Pally Sequence

Now for my sequences, I bind them to mouse wheel scroll up and down, and changed my default for camera zoom to shift scroll up/down. This way it doesn’t mess with any of my other keybinds, but it also means that I myself can’t use shift as a modifier for the sequence.

I am using Yoda’s Lightsmith talents found on Murlok.io as he is consistently ranked in the top of protection paladins.

Lightsmith Talents:

There are two different sequences with this, but if all you want is the dps macro you don’t need the defense macro to make it work, it’s just the way that I do it. I have recently added Rebuke as a shift mod by request on the dmg sequence, though I myself don’t use it that way.

Consecration is not always triggered

fresh lvl 80 552ilvl

in details I’m showing 64% uptime on SotR, and 62% on consecrate. So their uptimes are similiar while SotR is my top dmging ability. that’s total during the entire dungeon, so even though it’s only 64% i’m not seeing it drop off during combat.

I’ll keep testing it, and tweaking it.

updated dmg macro to 1.1

Consecrate fires slightly more often, and realized that Hammer of Wrath was almost never firing, so increased the firing rate of that as well.

This is working fantastic for me. Thank you! Hit 2100 io in a couple days.

glad it’s working well for you!

I like it a lot. Thanks!

updated to 1.2 in original post for dmg sequence. Now includes Templar spec as version 2.
Also updated talents and sequence for version 1 for Lightsmith. Now includes Bastion of Light.

Lightsmith seems to have better survivability, while Templar has better dps.

For some reason it stopped firing blessed hammer… ideas?

Are you still having the issue? It seems that every time there’s a hot fix for something, it breaks at least 1 of my sequences for one of my characters. It sometimes clears itself up within a couple of days though.

Hey Love the Macros! Can we get an update with Yoda’s new talents? Looks like he switched to Eye of Tyr and would be cool to add that to the defense Macro! Also anyway we can get
rebuke on Shift? Then Maybe both trinkets on ctrl or alt or just worked into main damage chain?

I’ve been playing warlock and rogue in the new anniversary classic server, so it might be a while before I can get to this, but I’ll see if I can jump on and test it out a bit

64% uptime on SoTR is not good at all.

yes, but that was an average taken over the entire dungeon

Version 1 already (so does version 2 in fact) uses Eye of Tyr, so if it’s talented into it will be used, but if it’s not then it’ll just pass over that block.

I added both trinkets to the Avenging Wrath block in version 1, it was already in version 2. I missed that one somehow…

Added Rebuke as a shift mod, though I personally don’t use mods for any of my sequences.

In a 2 minute test with the updated sequence, I had an uptime of 93% for SotR and 97% for Consecrate. My dps was also an avg of ~650k that spiked to 1.1m during avenging wrath. This was done on the cleave dummys with a 615 ilvl using the lightsmith build in the original post.
