I’m not sure hard is the right word; it would just be very inconsistent. Some breaths will be 5-10 seconds, and perhaps the next one will be 2-5 seconds.
If I were to implement a breath build, the best I could see it being is with two separate sequences while still being somewhat lazy-friendly. I will try out some testing this week but if it doesn’t perform to what I feel is a reasonable amount I likely won’t include it, as if I did everyone would use it, and then ask why it’s so bad. I will see how it goes, but two sequences are the better option where you can run two keybinds, 1 for each sequence.
can you just make it a mod key, and have it run /castsequence and rune spending only during the window? I’m try that tomorrow. no clue if it would work with reset= .
possible to make Frost DK BREATH BUILD ? i dont know how to make the keys into gse:( but i have video of a video who starts build up then pop cds obl to keep it active. is the best pve build out now i gues.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9k6uj4qgqQ
well couldn’t make breath build work, but i was able to make shatter build do 86-88% of my sims at 100ms.
Every block would have to have [nochanneling], try this and let me know, im thinking of going back and staying a dk. too hard to get into pugs as a ret pally lol
How do i add so trinkets cast automaticly?
aw sad, is the only build i get high dps as 585 ilvl dk rest is like 300k
For the breath build to work:
Every runic power spender needs to have [nomod] in the /cast line
shift modifier for BoS
quite simply put: hold down shift until BoS finishes, the sequence will only cast the runic power generators whilst a modifier is held down
happy days
In theory with enough haste you should be able to keep it up for about 20-30 seconds
I just tested a quick one, with 5% haste at 606 ilvl my BoS uptime was 19 seconds
I daresay with a good group you could go boss to boss in some dungeons
tbh i feel like the other build is more rewarding
If you want to make breath into the same sequence, yes, it would have to be a modifier. The problem with that Might come down to the 255 character limit and the fact that at 250MS, going more than 4 blocks starts slowing the sequence down, where you get 2 Seconds of nothing being cast as it goes through the sequence.
It’s quite fickle. I think a whole separate sequence would be the best option, if any, for your everyday person. However, you could make 1 sequence with a modifier work, but I’m not sure at 250MS.
I cannot parse pass 20% on heroic nerub. What are you using and did you change anything?
Normal nerub I can hit 50% but 80+% is pretty good
Very true. A quick fix for the 255 limit is to make a block between blocks solely for modifiers. Works well in my ret pally sequences
i lowered ms and changed prio for blocks and removed last block.
there are some times it gets stuck though and dps drops and i have to swap back and forth between binds.
Also this is for shatter build not breath.
Breath i haven’t figured out anything worth it yet.
Guys which type of version is more playeble now? Can u halp me plz to choose
Can you share the import code for your changes?
That will depend on you, and what you prefer
I would advise that if you prefer raiding/mythic+, you should likely use version 2, which uses modifiers to control some dps CDs. Version 1 is just a yolo to use whenever you have the chance.
Forgive the stupid question, I am new to Wow and GSE. Which talent sequence would I use for single target on one button and AOE on another button for two handed weapon? I see the sequences above and the talents change. Is there a single talent sequence that covers both? Through GSE I can tell the Macro to utilize the correct talent trees, but I can only have one active talent tree on my character. Thanks for the help.
Hi
“Which talent sequence would I use for single target on one button and AOE on another button for two handed weapon”
The are really no guides for 2 hander specifically, it can be done but DW is vastly better that’s why all sites only really show DW talents, but that is fine you can still just equip a 2H weapon and do fine dps, even though my sequence says DW (dual wield) the 2H talent is now a passive you always get so you can play any sequence 2H or DW, just DW is better.
I recommend you mainly use "
For General gameplayer/delves/mythic+/world content
For Raid bosses
Both sequences use different talents, so you cannot run them both at the same time, as only 1 will be active at the same time. You can still make them 2 different keybinds if you want, or make them 1 keybind and it changes which one to use based on your talents.
If you want to manually only have 1 keybind and 1 talent choice to cover both, so you only ever need to just use 2 keybinds, you will need to manually edit the talents to where there is no Key spell that 1 talent set uses, everything would basically need to be a passive.
for example
AOE uses Frostwyrm’s Fury
Single target does not
if you wanted to be able to use both AOE/ST sequences on the fly without talent changes, you would either need to remove Frostwyrm’s Fury from the sequence or talent out of it and change the Aoe sequence to not use it which is kinda hard to do, as that talent is major AOE damage, but if you don’t care on numbers you can just replace that with random talents that are passive and could make it work.
If you want to learn how you can do that OAK has great videos on building a sequence and can start from something small, the changes I mentioned above can be done rather quickly, but maintaining them for changes is the hard part that’s why I no longer create too many sequences with small changes to each of them.

Hello, I want this to work real bad as I want to start pushing keys. But for the love of me, I cannot pass 1.5M dps max burst and 800k dps overall dmg on test AOE dummies and its worse during key runs (500-600kdps). I have tried 2H and DW and 40ms-250ms. I am at 603ilvl and debating if you guys are having the same problem. Is this the type of results you guys are getting?
Thanks you so much for your work and sharing it, Dots! Love this one!
