Ahoy there crew! Captain on deck
I was been a big fan of fury because it’s one the specs that works really really well with GSE but reminds me a lot of the Japanese motorcycles I used to ride in that once you get wound up it’s got plenty of power but it doesn’t have much low-end torque it doesn’t hit anything like you know arms or God forbid retribution Paladin. I was looking at NTX’s work on his fury macro and I got a good idea from him that I implemented here. The original macro was written by Elfy and that’s why the title of it is 8.2 fury single target. I’ve been using it for years and years ever since I had the stroke and lost use of the left arm I’ve kinda had to. I’ve also had fun in & developed arms and retribution Paladin sequences that were fantastic but always came back to fury because I thought there is more work to be done on it
Material change to this rampage fest is down in the bottom right corner of the fury tree. I got the idea from NTX and it was to implement onslaught and tenderize. I’ve got a couple of them in the sequence along with the ~20 rampages.
There’s no area of the fact that this because it done assumes that you’re going to keep your whirlwind cleave up so every for global cooldown and make sure you whirlwind and this will work for AOE. What’s nice is that the onslaught will also cleave and it crits very very hard.
I run it at 125 ms which is probably a little too fast 250 would work just as well it’s got a mod shift in it for recklessness.
With my crappy 419 high-level gear it target dummies at around 41,000 DPS. You can definitely feel the change coming off the bottom particularly if onslaught critically hits and it really boosts that first rampage giving you a nice pleasant 30 rage to work work off of. I described it as indifferent because I haven’t really worked on my fury macro in a long time because I’m really scared of screwing it up. Because I’m an old retired guy and probably will never work again I try not to mess with anything that would keep me from being able to game.
