Hi All

Here is my edit of @Elfyau BM Macro with some edits to improve DPS, and also to start using Wailing Arrow. You’ll see that Wailing Arrow both in ST and AOE becomes a big hit for you, (15-20k damage).

To get Wailing Arrow you have to deduct one point from Training Expert talent. Eventually, once we get to 70 we can add that second point and pick up Aspect of the Wild too.

There are two versions of each macro. Variable 1 is used for a single target, and Mend Pet is bound to your shift key. Variable 2 is used in Mythics and Raids, Mend Pet is not included. A binding Shot on ALT is then added.

You don’t need to heal your pet, it’s a DPS loss. In solo content is when it’s only needed, but a PBAoE should be enough to heal pets from other healers. If they don’t heal your pets, its them not you.

Like most of my macros, please run this at 100 ms if you have a hardware emulation tool like iCUE, but if you are running software emulation like AHK, please run this at 250 ms.

Note - I have re-manufactured this macro to do Bloodshed instead of Wailing Arrow. Please see the code updates below.

Right on the heals, I did not realize the drop was quite that much, the only issue with the wailing arrow is the casting time and requirement to stand still, currently getting ~8% DPS increase, still working out if the loss of mobility is a fair exchange. Going to play with it more, but thanks for the great macro will be doing some more testing tonight.

with the talents is there a set for aoe and single or just the one set also how would one add the aoe macro to the single target on a mod so it only takes up one button

In a Mythic + environment Wailing Arrow is a DPS boost, as it does more damage than Multi-Shot. The reason your DPS is a loss is because of the new talents, as we don’t have the advantages of the new Kill Command that works in AOE situations, and you don’t have Aspect of the Wild which increases your crit rate. The talent tree for BM sucks, it’s almost as bad as Ret Pallies.

There is another build going on without Wailing Arrow and more towards Kill Command that Icy Veins is using: Dragonflight Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft - Icy Veins

You won’t need to change the macro, I’m with you on it too while I like Wailing Arrow I feel it might be a better MM spell than BM, yet Blizzard put it in BM.

I’ve updated the original post, I changed all the talents, removed Wailing Arrow, and included Bloodshed. DPS has increased by a good 30% from the initial update I did.

Looks like it’s heading in the right direction. I’ve found when using this I get a lot of not ready yet spam when using the macro and having to manually press the talents anyway. Any suggestions on that? Assuming bumping down the speed?

Use the UI error that clears errors, your going to see that no matter what. If your using AHK, sorry I can’t help you with that.

I will check out the other talent spec thanks for the info. Yeah I am a bit disappointed as I feel the constant motion is a class feature for BM and I am loathe to give it up

The other talents did improve DPS but it’s better in AOE than a single target. The first one is more dedicated to Single Target with light AOE (using Stomp)

BM has a lot of issues right now, the main issue is that many of the core talents from Shadowlands are not available to us at 60 they will be at 70 like Aspect of the Wild.

Hi @Moonsorow, what’s happening is some confusion with the fact that some people are thinking it’s my update also when I am trying to help fix my macros I usually ask them the name of the macro, which is causing a bit of confusion.
While it is awesome that you are giving me the credit that is due, to save on the confusion could you please put something like Moons in the title? i.e “Moons Edit: Elf’s BM DF Update with Bloodshed (No Waling Arrow)” and in the name of the macro? i.e MED_EA_BM_OB?

This will reduce the confusion while still giving me some credit (It will also give you the credit you deserve for the changes you have made). If you could it would be greatly appreciated! :blush:

Give me a little bit of time to rename them and also develop the changelogs for each spec that I worked on. This week is trade show week at my job so I’m not on WoW this week until the weekend. I’ll try to get this done before the weekend for you.

I am here to help you as I said years ago, to improve the macros for that ~5% in that hardcore raiding and M+ scene.
