I’m happy to share Restoration Shaman v0.5, and this update is all about consistency, clarity, and keeping your healing calm even when the fight isn’t. Over the last few iterations, I’ve been focusing on how the macro behaves under pressure—raid damage spikes, messy dungeon pulls, and those moments where everything suddenly goes wrong.

This version smooths out healing flow, improves responsiveness when damage ramps up, and better respects cooldown timing so nothing feels wasted or mistimed. The goal here isn’t flashy healing—it’s reliable, steady output that lets you focus on positioning, mechanics, and keeping the group alive without fighting the macro itself. :droplet:

Hey Elfyau

Thanks for the Macro and now my Question:

Do i have to mouseover an Ally for Healing? Because often i got the Message “No Target” and nothing happens until i do a mouseover on an Ally.

Its very hard sometimes to find the Tank in a Battle with all the Effects from the Fights.

Maybe i do something wrong but the best is to select an Ally on the Group Frame and as a selected target?

You should be able to just mouseover the unit/party frames

Really liking this macro so far. I have little knowledge of resto and basically let the macro do everything.

When i push the DPS sequence it seems to do quite a bit of healing when its not needed. Is that working as intended?

Yes it is - in groups it is best to set your focus to or on the tank

I tried it again yesterday in two M+ but the cast via the party frame does not work. Is one of my settings not correct or something wrong in the macro? As soon as I do a mouseover over the player it work but doesn’t work in the frame.

How are you binding it to the sequence?

With my Logitech Mouse and the Logitech Software about 120ms as i do with DPS macros. DPS all working fine.

When i mouseover a party frame and push the heal macro it works correctly. Probably an issue with your setup.

@Drake90 I mean do you bind the sequence to a key? or directly to the mouse?

Directly to the Mouse. I try diffrent settings as “Mousover cast” ingame etc but nothing seems to work.

i have mine set to a key on the keyboard, but have mouse set to vitrually click it. so might be why its working for me.

You have to build a bridge so to speak to get mouseover to work - for some reason mouseovers do not work on frames if the sequence is bound directly to the mouse - you must bind the sequence to a key then that mouse to the same key
