I’m excited to share version 0.5 of my Subtlety Rogue macro — and this one’s all about refining precision, pacing, and power from the shadows. I’ve reworked how the rotation flows to make energy and combo point management feel tighter, and cooldowns like Symbols of Death and Shadow Dance now align more naturally for cleaner burst windows. :crossed_swords:

This version also smooths out the transitions between stealth and open combat, keeping your momentum steady and your damage consistent. Whether you’re slicing through single targets or weaving in AOE moments, it should feel more fluid and responsive than ever. :man_detective:

Thank you once again for coming out on top. I used this on my Remix level 30 Rogue to great effect after others had failed to run properly. Now to try it on my big girl Rogue. Keep up the good work.

thank you so much elf. I just don’t know where I’m wrong but it doesn’t work, it crashes after 2 spells… most likely I’m wrong in importing or creating macros with the new gse settings.

So far from a first glance and a few dungeons, AOE is doing Storm+Powder but no Symbols or Shadow Dance, Single Target is not using Shadow Dance and Shadow Strike, even if Shadow Dance is pressed manually Shadow Strike wont be used. Also, there is a decent delay before it will Shadow Step, for example, I had full combo points and was on target and rotation was hanging for a few sec and then jumped with Shadow Step while it wasn’t necessary.

couple things

the macro hangs for about 4-5 seconds after that 1st use of thistle tea-- i thought i was broken but it statred up again

not enough eviscerates-- the macro seems to concentrate really heavily on – what is that… rupture i think.

jsut to add what i think may improve your already good work-- is to have a builder macro, then a spender macro for things like evisercate and secret technique-- so 2 separate macros.

as this class as well as feral are ultra tough to GSE all in one.

I’ve played with it a bit, and got rid of some of the random hangs/stops with edits, especially when switching mobs. However, it still sits at max combo points too long and doesn’t fire enough Eviscerates. Gloomblade is generally about 70-80% of my damage, when that should be about where Eviscerate is instead (at least that’s how it was in DragonFlight with your macro). I’ve lost around 30k DPS because it’s just spamming builders and rarely using spenders. I know the way that GSE was forced to change with the WW update this is probably going to be harder to figure out, but we will get there!

Also as a side note, I removed Slice & Dice and use it manually, between mobs there are often a few combo points left over so it’s easy to keep up like 90% the time. This kind of helped smooth out the flow of the rotation.

Apparently I am missing something, some classes like my frost DK, Prot warrior, etc, macros fire off just fine. But then like this macro, it doesn’t fire off. Can someone help me as to why this is going on. I have tried numerous macros on other classes and ran into the same problem with specific macros (not all of them). But I would love to try Rogue.

lol you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Elf has MANY macros, all of which get updated based on what his users want (in his discord).

Hi Elfyau, i love your Makros but with this one i have a Problem. Its start good, fire all of an makes a great dps. But after 10 - 15 sec i have full combo points and he dont spend them in a finischer. If i do a finisher manuell he starts earn combo points but do it agin. Can you help me ?

How fast are you running it? Have you imported the talent string?

hmm it works sometimes for me. Sometimes it’s stuck it seems and just auto attacks

When it gets stuck are you switching from ST to MT or visa versa?

only switching between pulls. I wonder if thats the issue?
