It did not change much from the old macro other than adding the new spell. As always let us know how it works for you and if you can make it better post it here. Enjoy!

The “Alt” modifier key will refresh the Searing Totem.

this is the one button spam i use for my enhance shaman, 2 earth shocks inbetween flame shock

My personal update for 5.0

/castsequence reset=5 searing totem, null

/castsequence reset=combat unleash elements, flame shock, fire nova, Stormstrike, Lava lash, earth shock, stormstrike

/cast ancestral guidance

 

I keep lighning bolt and chain lightining on seperate buttons in case I need to aoe or burn down a solo target.

I use reset=combat for quick combat switching and not having to wait for cooldowns.

Hey there :smiley: Thanks for the post Dave. So I have been messing with a few variations of one button or 3-button macros to max my dps. My concern is that with macros such as yours, we are over using Flame Shock. I think too max dps we need to be using Earth until we need to refresh the Flame dot.

Below is the layout I have been using, please comment your thoughts on flame shock and my macros.

Button 1:

/castsequence reset=15 unleash elements, flame shock

/castsequence reset=120 feral spirit, shamanistic rage, shamanistic rage

Button 2:

/castsequence reset=10 stormstrike, lava lash, earth shock, stormstrike

Button 3: Lightning Bolt

In theory I hit button 1 at the start to apply the dot and buffs, then spam button 2 until I get maelstrom (Hit button 3) or need to reapply dot. Also button 2 sometimes gets screwy.

For AOE I have:

Button 1:

/castsequence reset=15 unleash elements, flame shock

/castsequence reset=120 feral spirit, shamanistic rage, shamanistic rage

Button 2:

/castsequence reset=12 lava lash, fire nova, fire nova, fire nova

Button 3:

Chain Lightning

I use the same play style as my stated single target rotation above.

Question; Too many FS you say? There is only one in Dave’s macro.

As for yours, I’m not too sure on it. I think I know why your button 2 is screwy, but I’m not sure.
