Sorry for the silence everyone. I’ve been working on a Guardian Tank sequence using the new Lunar Bear (no apex) build. I just posted over in that forum if interested.
I’ll be getting back to looking at this sequence for improvement but, so far I’m pretty happy with it.
I’ve made a few new versions but keep coming back to the latest one posted here.
How are things with this sequence now? Anyone using it? What are your thoughts?
I hope others add their thoughts, but I still use it.
Due to how empowered spells work and the need to do eruption spam at certain times - I haven’t been able to think of any new ways to improve upon it.
In fact, I find myself only using the spender sequence and casting living flame manually as needed.
I rarely touch the builder sequence.
So can I make another suggestion?
How about making it so that a modifier (maybe shift) can be used and instead of spending it builds at that time?
Could this make it a 1 sequence?

There is no true way to build essence in their traditional sense like you build rage or combo points.
Evokers naturally refill essence over time.there is no move that says “gives +1 essence”
Casting a spell that doesn’t cost essence (which is everything other than eruption) is how you give yourself the time to regenerate.
Essence is used for casting eruption, and you can get more cast of eruptions by:
-your empowered spells which don’t cost essence and give you time to regen
-living flame, prescience, and azure strike which do not cost essence and will potentially give you a free cast of eruption
-honorable mention: Breath of eons, which gives you one essence cost eruption for a limited number of cast
That’s why I made each sequence the way I did. Allowing you to get into “spend mode” or “regen mode” while still maintaining all of your buffs and giving you functionality to cast your empowered spells
Maybe I should rename them to builder and regen
I do appreciate the suggestion though keep them coming and I’m always looking for new ways to make it better. I just find it pretty solid for the way that I play.
