TLDW: Do everything you can to keep Prescience and Ebon Might active. If you do that, everything falls into place.

(New Video May 4, 2026)

1 - Keep your party buffed as a priority (Prescience and Ebon Might)
2 - Use Breath of Eons as much as you
3 - Use Fire Breath & Upheaval as much as you can (to extend Ebon Might)
4 - Use Eruption on 2 different large hit point enemies (to extend Ebon Might)
5 - Spam Eruption until out of charges (to extend Ebon Might)
6 - Use Living Flame to allow recharging of your essence which you use to cast Eruption
7 - Repeat

6 - Target the next largest health enemy and cast Eruption again (Spender Sequence)
7 - Spam Eruption (Spender Sequence)
8 - Repeat
100 - If out of essence charges, continue to buff and cast living flame (Builder Sequence)

-={Data from a +13 Pit of Saron}=-

In game damage meters show me an overall DPS of 55K. This is because it is only counting my damage spells and not the damage produced by our buffs and other effects.

By using /combatlog in game and uploading the data we see a view that more accurately reflects the augmentation evokers contribution to the party.

When looking at “Damage done by source” we can see the damage our buffs resulted in and that damage credited to us.

Here is a breakdown of each spell and effect. Highlights include:
-We have a 70% uptime on Ebon Might (75% is the target, getting closer)
-My duplicate (clone) being out 43% of the fight (for a spell with a 1.8min cooldown, that’s great)
-Prescience buff had a 97% uptime on the DPS (sequence is doing it’s thing)

Hey i tried it out and its great, i thing i notice is that it casts many living flames when there is few Eruption casts that can go off

Yes, eruption management is-was the single biggest delay in me releasing this and why I created the optional separate sequence.

if you are out of Eruption casts the Living Flame will recharge your Eruption but if you are casting quickly you can miss it in the rotation

Edit: I’ve tested a few ways and ended up disabling the Living Flame block and now it works like a champ. I then swapped the placement of Eruption and Living Flame in my optional sequence so that I can fire off Living Flame if I am out of cooldowns on my primary button.

I found this to be a big improvement and have updated the sequences above as v1.1

always wanted to try this spec - your work looks like a bridge to it (for me). Just in case - maybe you can attach here a showcase - how you play with this sequence? Like Wenlo in Monk section? It really helps - just to have a look

Per your request, I’ve uploaded a spell/rotation guide and a gameplay tutorial in the original post. :+1:t3:

Hey @Fenomenon
Thank you for the video guides. Both sequence imports are the builder imports  just fyi

Thank you for the catch.
I’ve fixed it, thank you :folded_hands:t3:
Let me know how it works for you.

I use AHK, so im just trying to figure it out how the empowered spell works
So far so good, without Modifiers. Maybe ill just remove the modifiers and just keep them on separate keybinds and cast them manually. Upheaval and Fire Breath

I started out with empowered spells on a separate button.

But the Evoker has a lot of other spells worth binding…
Ultimately I put them back into the sequence to save keybind space.

With “Empowered Spell Input” set to “Press and Tap” all I do is hold SHIFT/ALT and press my sequence button 1x to start empowering (charging) the spell and then a 2nd time to cast it.

Then I go back to building or spending essence and buffing as needed.

HI there, thanks for this. Evokers not getting enough love here.

Tried it, as a boosted 80, and after following all instr it doesnt build. It does
nothing on the build sequence.

This because im 80 ? or something else ? tried modifiers, importing again, nothing.

Thanks.

I recently built these sequences after I was 90 and had been playing M+ keys.
So I don’t know how they may function when leveling.

Yesterday I had an issue with the sequences on the post, so I’d try to redownload them both and ensure you bind each to it’s own keybind.

Hopefully that helps.

Just added a Magisters’ Terrace +12 gameplay demo to the main post.

I just updated the main post to show combat log data from a timed +13 Pit of Saron.
Very interesting to see how much more damage we are responsible for than what shows with the in-game damage meters.

Really nice to see some Evoker love being done and you provided the information that a lot of people really want to see.

I may even get an augmentation evoker made. Never played one before, so jump in feet first as they say

Thank you PickledPew. I’m still learning and evolving with it as well.
I’m working on a new explainer video now that I’m about to hit 3k io (2971 right now).
Hope to have that up soon.

My pleasure. I was able to find a lvl 80 evoker I leveled up during mop remix (deleted it due to remix and not playing the evoker), so restored that and will have a play around

I added an updated the how-to explainer video in the main post.
I got a little more in depth on the talents and how they spells/talents work together.
The rotation itself is the same, but a new simplified way to think about it.

Hey! First of all, thanks for taking the time to create this and put the effort into a seemingly forgotten about class/spec!

Just a bit of feedback from my personal standpoint -

  • The fact you’ve gone through so much trouble to put together videos and full “how-to’s” is astounding.
  • The sequence itself works quite well, much in part to it’s simplicity. I’ve seen some really jargon filled Aug sequences since the specs existence so this was very pleasing to see :')
  • On my end, the sequence seems to run smoother by having the loop set to Sequential as opposed to priority based, when I have it on priority, Eruption/Living Flame have quite some time between casts, even with Prescience and Ebon Might on CD. Changing it to sequential still allowed Prescience and Ebon Might to cast on CD pretty much but then was able to spam both Damage abilities until Ebon and Pres were free to use again.

All in all, thanks a lot for a fantastic sequence

Thank you for the awesome and detailed feedback Dan!

The reason for the slowdown in switching is that you have to progress far enough through the blocks to get an opportunity to fire off eruption//living flame

I’m testing sequential versus priority as you suggested.

I’m seeing some issues on the front side in having Ebon Might available but it not casting. However, I did find the empowered spells seem to run batter.

I’ll keep testing and toying with it.

Ebon Might and Prescience always catch off CD for me but as we know it’s completely dependent on our own setups and latency etc.

Thanks for taking my feedback on board, can’t wait to see what you come up with
