About
This is my first draft of a Destruction Warlock made as simple and approachable as possible.
The goal is not perfect optimization.
The goal is to give players a clean starting point so they can begin playing the spec, understand the basic flow, and slowly add more complexity as they get comfortable.
What This Is
This setup is built around a simplified Destruction Warlock playstyle using:
-
A custom talent build
-
GSE Sequence for primary damage rotation
-
Optional GSE Sequence for pet management
(Note: Both sequences are in the import below)
Basic Playstyle:
Build Soul Shards:
Apply Immolate (DoT), Spread DoT with Conflagrate, hit everything that has a DoT with Incinerate
Spend Soul Shards:
Cast Chaos Bolt (Default)
Cast Rain of Fire (If 8+ targets)
Manage 1 big cooldown, Summon Infernal
Talents
This is a custom talent build designed to balance rotation simplicity and damage output.

GSE Sequence
The GSE version follows the same basic structure as the manual buttons, but with the randomness we all know and love from GSE
It is designed to help reduce button management while still keeping the gameplay understandable.
This sequence is still being tested and refined.
Modifier:
Shift = Immolate (DoT)
Cast this first before you start the rotation.
When Immolate is about to drop from your target you can reapply or target something with Immolate already on it.

Important Notes
This is not meant to turn anyone into a world-first Warlock.
It is meant to help make the class easier to start playing.
Once you get comfortable, you can modify the build, move abilities out of the sequence, and slowly take more manual control.
Video Guide
I made a short video explaining the playstyle, macros, rotation, utility spells and GSE use.
