Hello everyone, and welcome to this Frost Death Knight build. This build takes inspiration from another creator on this site, @AeonEternal & @tehzle I reviewed their setup, tested it, and made a few personal adjustments that helped the overall flow feel smoother for me. Below you will find both a Mythic Plus build and a single target raid build for the Deathbringer.
The modifiers are listed in the next paragraph with bullet points. These are the inputs you will use to activate certain abilities within the sequences:
• Shift will activate Howling Blast. Use this whenever Rime is active so you can keep it proccing and maintain constant extra damage.
• Alt will activate both Breath of Sindragosa and Frostwyrm’s Fury. They share the same cooldown window for this macro, but remember that Breath requires around 60 runic power before you can cast it. During large pulls or boss encounters, once you have the required resources, press Alt and both abilities will fire together, delivering a strong burst of damage to your primary target or the full pack.
Below, you will find the sequences for both the AoE and single target versions. The AoE setup also works perfectly well in delves. I have tested it there, although I am not yet level 90, so keep that in mind. The single target version is simply a slight variation of the AoE version, replacing Frost Scythe with Obliterate and replacing Glacial Advance with Frost Strike.
Give both builds a try and see how they feel for you. If you enjoy them, excellent. If you run into any issues, feel free to let me know, and I will see if there is anything I can do to help resolve them. I will not be making builds for other specializations such as Rider of the Apocalypse. These two are the only ones I will be providing.
