The lines with the double dash (–) in them means they are commented out. If you want this to switch you to Seal of Truth or use trinkets just delete the dashes. I don’t use them cause I like to manually time those with Avenging Wrath. The [harm] before Execution Sentence is so it will only cast on an enemy and not yourself which will happen sometimes if that is not there. Use any modifier key such as shift to use Divine Storm for when you need it, such as AoE or Divine Crusader Procs.
Any tips, suggestions, questions or anything else is welcomed.
Nice macro. I used to be a very popular macro writer for this website in the last xpac, especially for Priest and Warrior; however, it appears that Blizz disabled the priority macro functionality that I am traditionally accustomed to, at least in regards to my Ret Pally.
I’m liking this gnome sequencer but it doesn’t appear to really be good at prioritizing certain abilities. I used to have my priority macro damn near perfect with ARMS. It would prioritize my armor pen ability and literally fire it off almost the split second that it was up, but not sure if its possible with gnome sequencer.
It appears from your maceo that you have an ! Exclamation mark before execution sentence which i will assume is supposed to prioritize it. However, is it actually working as intended? and if so would it be possible to prioritize multiple like ES as well as Templars Verdict?
Also, I’d like to create a defense/healing macro to compliment this one. Anyone who knows me, knows that I generally test my stuff more than anyone and they are for the most part, almost flawless. Its like a mini game for me.
Let’s work together and message me and I’ll give you my battletag buddy!..
Actually that (!) does nothing for Ret Pallys, its something for channeling spells I believe, I’ve taken that out. For TV I have been fiddling around and it seems putting it in the post macro will cast it if no GCD has been activated and there is 3+ Holy Power of if you get the free procs.
If anyone could try out both of these and report back with which one is giving better dps, I would appreciate it.
Have tested Ka Dauchi’s macro, Final Verdict in main macro vs post macro.
My gear is still low, 618. I use 0.04 sec delay on my G15 keyboard. Testing time, 2 min. Here is the results-
Final Verdict inside main macro:
DPS average in 2 min - 11053; Final verdict count - 20, dmg% -22.5%
Final Verdict inside post macro:
DPS average in 2 min - 10692; Final verdict count - 17, dmg% -19.8%
The DPS with Final verdict inside post macro slightly increased, but not much.
TY Charles, if anyone else has had a chance to test this in a raid setting that would be nice. I was 1st in most fights, never below 3rd up until the last bass which we did not down but was top in that fight as well and expect that to be 1st too. 641 ilvl for reference. I’ll be doing more testing to get a better macro. I still gotta play around with your’s Fuzzy.
I’m sitting in recovery from another back surgery but this weekend I’ll get on and see about the changes I made to maximize the TV uptime and keep my shields active. I also plan to add AW and the guardian into a mod key so you can proc on boss fights and not on trash mobs. May even try to incorporate wog to a mod key when 5 bastion is available. Still playing with it now that I’m 626 ilvl prof that is but it will serves my purpose. See ta guys soon keep the good ideas coming
As far as I understand, there is no purpose of it. It is more for the user to visualize/understand the macro. You can write the whole sequence in one line and it will work as long as all the syntax is in the right place.
yea no differnece at all and on my computer it doesnt look like that either so i dunno and the reason for the ! is same as before. it will only try to cast that spell when available. the ! isnt really needed as if the spell isnt available it will just skip it newways.
and appreciate the support carl i shattered my l5/s1 2 years ago been a battle ever since
