I’ve been using your macro throughout Season 1, it is fantastic and lets me focus on cooldowns. Season 2 has completely rebuilt the Druid talent tree. I tried to fill in what made sense, but I know it isn’t optimized. The macro still functions - it is pretty talent-proof! - but if you have time take a look and make recommendations on the new tree.
I’d say this is probably the base. Anything in red is basically an optional node that you can grab what you think you need.
- Feline Swiftness is always good for extra speed.
- Perfectly Honed Instincts and Natural Recovory for extra survivability.
- Instincts of the Claw for a very minor dps increase. I’d probably ignore this one.
- Innervate into Symbiotic Relationship on your healer can help keep them alive.
- Typhoon for specific dungeons.
- Lingering Healing to increase the healing you do with FR. I’ll have to see though as I’ve heard that you can now run out of mana as a bear casting FR because it still uses mana for it to cast Rejuv and Regrowth.
I think my own prefrence is going to be:
Hmm or maybe this as I’d forgotten matted fur:
Ok in testing so far I two chested a +5 and didn’t use survival instincts a single time and barely had to use FR. Bear right now is very tanky. In fact my pull size is really limited by what the rest of the party can survive, its not quite DF strong but it feels good compared to say prot pally.
While damage for the build is good sitting in the 70%-80% parses (with no upgrades yet) a raze build might do more. I might play around with that this up coming week.
I’ll also make sure I get some video this week. Not sure why but it never crossed my mind to film anything this week.
As you can see its a grey parse on healing but I didn’t really take any damage.
Thank you, this is working great. You’re right, very tanky. I’m not doing much damage, but my season 2 gear is still very low.
So I’ve been messing with builds I think the general way to go is
Talent Imprt
CgGAkuH5GdQpDrgY32rlVGnyqBAAAAAAAAAAAAzYmhZWmZgZMzYxMzwsYZgZDmpJyMzCbzMzyYGAAAAAAwwYALbzshxsMCMFAACwmxMDgNjhB
It seems to do quite a bit more general healing and damage. The offset is that you are loosing a SI charge and RotS so you are short on defensives on some bosses like the last boss of rookery on a tyrannical week.
This is from a +7 Rookery.
Again with no upgrades yet as despite multiple raid clears I have no tier and haven’t had a weapon as well.
Ok so a priory run. Not sure the damage can really get better.
This is the second person to whisper something similar which is kind of nice.
Would you recommend this for Delves +11?
Im maining Balance Druid, but tanking delves is just easier and faster solo.
It can definitely max out delves. Its a bit slow compared to dps though. Not sure if it would be better to just have bran as tank and dps or have it as dps or healer and tank yourself.
You can make up for it by pulling a lot larger though. In my first +8 I don’t think I ever really stopped moving I just dragged everything together and popped incarn and LB.
has the main post been updated to the new builds and talents > ?
I just updated talents for M+ in the main post. I tested all of them at a +6 and have been able to two chest them all at 636 ilvl. Next week I’ll see if we need a different talent build for some of the bosses that have a lot of tank busters.
its not working good for me … which is uggggg im 635 ilvl and it just seems its missing something or slow with spells i don’t think its the talents more than the macro its self .
it also stated the macro was not specifically designed for this version of the game so to me its just not clicking kinda thing … maybe after some updates or a rework . ill keep my eye on post and go from there …
Delete the version you have and try importing this one.

Than check the text inside the macro to make sure the spell names are correct. If they look like gibberish or you are using a different language client thats probably the issue.
so i did this and are u only useing a AOE macro no single cause that one is aoe only it seems
and TY for ur replys
Yes in M+ you only need the aoe one as the rotation is the same reguardless of any fight being aoe or ST.
- AOE is for M+ and any raid fight that has adds that last for more than a couple of seconds.
- The ST is for raiding.
- The Off Tank is for raiding when you are not actively tanking the boss. That way you don’t blow defensive CD’s like barkskin when you are not taking damage.
- I will probably need to make a version that is cat weaving as well. I still need to look into it though.
Hi and thanks for you work!
Do you have any recomendation talents build for offtank bear ?
Please
Not at the moment I still haven’t played cat weaving at all. I know elune is good enough to get normal and the start of heroic done easily enough but its going to be low parses.
I know there was someone else in this thread that said they used it for that though so I might ask them about it.
I think the macro would maybe need to add swipe as thats a dps increase over moonfire I think. Than I need to figure out what you’re supposed to all do in cat form and see if I can make a macro for that as well.
I guess thats my way of saying its a lot of work and I’ve been avoiding it so far.

Healing
So for going pretty good. In the easy keys I’m still sitting on most charges of FR and not using SI. In a key like Priory though I’m using everything and having to pull around CD’s.
As a side note in high priory keys in the last room don’t pull the mini boss with the pat. It works in keys up to +7 but his pulsing damage is to high and will start killing people if any of the other casters bolts go through. We were going to time that key and that mess up cost us the key.
In M+ I’ve just been using the aoe macro. The damage is high enough anything else isn’t needed.
I haven’t even used the ST or OT in raid yet honestly and still need to work on it. For the life of me I don’t even remember what is different outside of maybe the priority of mangle.
I’ll be looking into it shortly. This week I was to busy with work and pushing to +10’s.
Just a question: why is the ST button “faded” and the AOE button normal?
I think someone said it was from a previous version so doesn’t import correclty. I’ll try getting to fixing that and working on a cat weaing macro this week for raid.
In M+ the aoe work good for the entire run and despite not being optimized for raid it still gets high blue to purple parses. I think one fight was even in the 90’s.
