GSE 2.0 Trouble Plz Help

Hey Guy, i am new to GSE and havn’t figure out alot about it. i was okie with the older version where i can enter my code in myself and the macro be there. this 2.0 version seem alot better but when i try to upload my macro in with the code from the older version i am running into a error. if you can plz help me in figuring out a solution that would be great.

this is the error i am running into, the Import function on the /GS window when i switch it over the legacy and try to import a new macro it is failing to appear when i look for it.

What are you trying to import?

And did you follow the stuff in this thread on Global Macros and Editing them to reset the Specialisation ID?

when we import it doesn’t show up for us to even edit it sometime.

so when i get macros off of this site i would be trying to import them from the legacy selection in import but it says the import was successful but it fails to show i have to block check that u stated in the other thread. but i have not read throught the whole 9 pages to see if there was a solution. sorry to the extra head ache and thank you for taking the time to help.

Ok I down loaded the GSE2 for 7.1.5 - Pre Release - Progress 3 this morning, and spent all morning Editing and making new macros, based on my old "My Macros. Tonight I find Curse has at last updated the addon. But when I went to download the update a popup warning appeared, saying that it would overwrite any changes I made to the addon.

So my question is; Will I lose all of the hard work I did today if I up date the addon? This not something I had to worry about with the old “My Macros” plug-in.

I’m actually having the issue myself where imported mods simply won’t show up

ya i keep tryiong to import macros but they dont show up but it says they have been saved?

Since theres so many bugs and issues with this new one is there anyway we can just fix the old one?

@walt you can do that - 7.1.5 broke a ton of it - Good Luck.

@sneedel what is occuring is they are being saved but GSE doesn’t know which class they are for. In GSE 2.0.2 you need to look at these options:

The red should then see them turn up in the editor but before using them you will need to change the Specialisation and save the macro so its part of the macro for your class. The Yellow is experimental to try to let you use it anyway.

Where have all the “my macros” gone? how do i get the see them please?
Or if i cant how do i load another macro, i deleted the arms warrior one and now i cant get it back.

So I’m trying to write my own macro since I cant get any to import, but it doesn’t give me the option to change the icon and begin to use it. Any thoughts. Appreciate the work you’ve done btw. Take your time.

Was just asking thats all cause every one seems to be saying there are so many bugs i was not trying to be smart im still using my old macros from gse and they are working ill just wait till this done beforei atempt to use it cause im a noob when it comes to this stuff
