GSE2 and 7.1.5

I have just gotten the first stable release candidate for GSE2 out and up on Curse. (To get it via Curse Client you will need to set your release type to Beta.)

After updating your old macros are hidden. This is a bug that I am working on now. The important part was to get a working version out as fast as I could. To get to these macros, Go to Options and in the middle click Show All Macros

Then Go to Create Icon and Drag your macro to the action bar.

I am currently working on the Saving of these macros and not needing to show all macros to see them as we speak.

(There is too much broken with 1.5 and I wont be updating it.)

nice thanks for the update. however i dont get anymore errors and i can see all my macros but they dont do anything when i press them

It won’t show my macros, and for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to convert “mymacros” to the new version. I’ve looked at your sample and thought I edited mine correctly, but to no avail.

This looks promising!
I loaded the new beta version but all my pre-existing macros are gone even after checking that box and reloading the UI.

I bet they got deleted when I updated…

Yeah, my personal one I built is now gone.

Beta doesn’t work either not a single macro is recognized now when I had a least one before the beta update.

I’m going to save mine done where before I download this

any update i loaded this addon like you said and none of my old showed up and the macros dont work

Progress Update 1 -

For Old Macros -

  • SHow All Macros
  • Select Macro
  • Edit it and change specialisation
  • Save Macro

Nice update, how ever old macro’s aren’t showing up, When I try to import old macro nothing shows up, When I try to make a new Macro nothing shows up. When I try to use sample macro’s nothing works.

I only see two macros. One for BM and one for DB and none for my mage

Where do you unzip the GSE File to?

@Ed you may need to load the sample macros for your class

@David Fountain - Delete GS-Core, GS-DraikMacros and GS-SequenceEditor from c:\path\to\world of warcraft\interface\addons and extract to here

do you need any of the other addon packs like my macros and stuff like that

If you are still using MyMacros you will need to import those macros via the import screen manually. The other addons will come over under Legacy and there is an update HP Macros

what about all the macros we entered in the 1.5.2 version…none are showing?

@Jason - See my posts on Page one of this thread.

this is what i get when i try to import
