Delete the entire macro from gse and then re-apply and replace
I have. this is what I have written:
/targetenemy [noharm][dead] /castsequence [mod:alt,nochanneling] Consume Magic /cast [mod:Shift,@player,combat] Metamorphosis /cast [mod:ctrl,nochanneling] Chaos Nova
Ctrl should be all caps so /cast [mod:CTRL,nochanneling] Chaos Nova - Try if that works
Depending on what number you’re running the macro, Ctrl+whatevernumber could be a pet command, or one of your other action bar buttons. Ctrl+3, for example, is pet attack if I remember correctly.
You’re going to have to go through all your key bindings. This not only includes WoW proper, like pet commands, but also any add-on or UI skin you’re using. Anything, any program or assistance option, like Autokey or your gaming keyboard, can get in the way.
It’s going to take good ol’ fashioned detective work. Start simple, obvious, and then work your way out.
Great Macro bro - Tried setting Eye beam out of sequence and set it to Alt key - Noticed perhaps a 1-3K DPS increase depending if its single dummy or several. See if it works

This sequence (macro) is one of my personal favorites! So here is my 5-cents worth
Like most MOD authors will say when YOU are getting low DPS compared to others:
- What azerite traits did they run ?
- What was the ILVL of their weapons compared to yours ? (WEAPON DPS IS THE MAIN SOURCE OF DPS NOT YOUR GENERIC OVERALL ILVL)
- What Heart Essences were they running ?
- What TALENTS were they running ?
So take a look here:

not gonna get much better than that because of the variation of Metamorphisis Uptime due to differing Visions of Perfection(s) or EYE BEAMS or whatever procs between SIM and REAL WORLD

Hey everyone!
No, I’m not dead. Not for lack of trying, though.
Let me check in really quick to let everyone know that I do intend to play for Shadowlands and update my Demon Hunter and Shadow Priest macros. No ETAs, as I’ll be playing right along most of you guys where I’ll be experiencing the content first-hand. No Alphas, no betas, and maybe even not on launch day for reasons I’ll get into in a sec. We’ll have to see. What this means is that I’ll certainly hop on both classes and test each spec for the technical side of these macros, but any fine-tuning is going to have to wait until I can get my characters up.
As for if the macros still work; they should. I have not played 8.3 at all. And I mean at all. If any new abilities were introduced that one would deem necessary for a rotation, let me know and I’ll see what I can do, but from reading alone I didn’t catch anything that looked like it’d necessitate an update. I have a bit of time today, so I will check each macro out to see if they still technically work, but again, I will have no knowledge of anything introduced in 8.3.
As for the reasons, well you all already know how games and free time work out. Sometimes WoW is the best game ever. Other times it’s just one of several. When you make a choice of what game to play with what time you have, sometimes WoW just doesn’t make the cut. No one’s here to read about my personal life, though, so all I’ll say is that I’m in healthcare, I support the front-liners, this is the latest health scare of many, and I’ll be lucky to score 4 hours of sleep tonight. I’ll leave it at that.
TL;DR: I’ll take some time today to check my macros, but apologies in advance for not knowing anything about 8.3. If you don’t see another reply, then the macro technically works. If you need something fixed, let me know and be specific. Otherwise, if you don’t hear from me, I plan on being back for Shadowlands and will update my macros then.

The macro seems to be cutting eye beam and my heart essence channeling short. Anyone else noticing that? What can be done to fix that?
I’ve noticed this, too. It’s a buff or something else triggering that’s interrupting. I haven’t been able to trace it just yet. Can you try to nail down what exactly seems to change whenever that happens?
After the last reset I don’t see this issue anymore.
