Havoc Reborn

Many thanks for your hard work.
I looked through the topic and couldn’t find anything about war mode.
Would you consider the additional traits significant for the Macro?
If yes, which would you choose?
Unless of course you don’t recommend War Mode

Warmode. Tough to say. I don’t plan on using it myself, well not beyond what Taliesin and Evitel recommend (love those guys), but I have PvPed with my macros and found that to be pretty solid.

That being said I would go with Icy-Vein’s recommendations. Namely, Adaptation, Demonic Origins, Solitude, and Unending Hatred. These all seem really solid for leveling and banging out quests. The macro will make use of Demonic Origins easily enough and Unending Hatred will make everything flow that much better until you gear out.

I logged in just to say that this macro is amazing. I have used it also in pvp and warmode, it works great! I use Cover of Darkness, Eye of Leotheras, and Reverse Magic when I need them.

I noticed that when you go Meta using shift and never letting go of the macro button it sometimes hangs i.e. uses only demon blades. It gets unstuck when I let go of the macro button and press it again

That’s not a bug. It’s intended behavior. If you hold any MOD button it will only execute whatever commands have that mod key’s trigger. I only have Meta on SHIFT, so you would have to let it go right after transforming.

Hello Enix so when i add that line for IA in GS the whole macro is green and blue but that line is white, and its at the very top of the macro, is it ok that its white or do i need to move it some where else in the macro

Because it is not referencing a spell, it’ll be white. That’s okay.

Thanks Enix it’s working really well. Pulling consistent 4500-5000 and bursting to 9k

how do you avoid wasting cds like eyebeam and IA on targets who are too far ?
I added these conditions before every line /cast [nochanneling, combat, exists, nodead] but still it often beams right after combat drops to dead mob, out of line of sight, mob too far away etc…

There’s no way. Since these abilities can fire without a target, there’s nothing to limit them from firing beyond the “in combat” check. That’s why Fel Rush and Vengeful Retreat are not in the main macro and why I don’t recommend Momentum as a talent.

The closest thing you can do is tie the range abilities to a melee one in a castsequence, like Eye Beam with Chaos Strike, but all that really means is that one spell must be cast before the second one will be, whichever comes first. Not that one will immediately follow the other. There is no way to lock two or more spells together in this manner without making the whole macro one lone castsequence and locking it up all the time for everyone.

Hello

you could remove Eyebeam from the macro and put it on seperate button

No, I won’t be doing that. Eye Beam is your single strongest ability and is meant to be used in both ST and AoE fights. It now costs less, has a lesser cooldown, and does extra damage to your primary target. If you save it for AoE-only fights, you will lose out on DPS.

You can take it out if you want, though. I just really don’t recommend it.

Hi,
What are the best azerite traits to play with that macro please?
ty

At the moment Revolving Blades and anything else that boosts a core stat (Agility > Haste = Versatility > Critical Strike > Mastery).

PSA: Havoc, Macros, and You

I wrote a thing that should hopefully answer most of your questions and concerns.

If you still have legitimate issues with my macro, though, I still want to hear them.

Thanks a lot for your work !

>>I have also designed this macro to be spammed at 30ms.

I spam my macros manually. Can you give an estimate of how much that would degrade the macro’s performance? Would it make a huge or small difference?

Well, depends on how fast. The macro is in Priority, so you might want to switch it to Sequential if you plan on tapping manually so that it’s not always starting at the top. Beyond that, you should be able to tap casually, but quickly, and do fine. You likely won’t do optimally, though.

Hi Enix,

Which macro do you recommend using right now or is the one you’re personally using at the moment? There were 3 versions of your macro in the thread, right now i’m using the test one with IA put in the premacro section.

It works fine but I wanted to know which one you’ve had the most success with thus far, yourself, personally.

I’m running this at the 30ms and it keeps cancelling my Eye Beam.
I tried taking out [nochanneling] but it didn’t work and i’m not really versed in macro’s anyway
