Hey there fellow Paladin players! This is my return to the Ret Paladin macro scene after not playing for a while! Please, feel free to critique, add your own fixes (as long as you post here for others to use!), or just offer up suggestions! This is by no means a perfect macro (none really can be) and it is just a basic rotation with modifiers (no major GCD spells are in this macro)
This will always be changing, and if someone finds a better change, please post so I can test and add it to the op! This is very much a community macro! Our last macro went pretty well back in shadowlands (👑 Highlord Ret Macro - 9.2 - Updated 3/9), so I am hoping we can replicate that here again!
AHK
100 - 150ms (whatever you feel comfortable with though!)
Script I use (Thank you Feros): Feros AHK Script
Not sure who else plays Paladins anymore, but attempted a new update drawing inspiration from other setups and following current WoWHead and IcyVeins recommended rotations.
Also updated talents in OP to reflect it (can also use standard wowhead talents). Recommended between 150-250ms (but set to whatever you want)
Back and playing on my ret pally again. Slight updates to macro above. Please, any changes or input, let me know. This will be my main going forward into War Within.
I use a Logitech g213 keyboard and a Corsair Scimitar mouse. When I read that you set the MS to 200, 300 or
another value, I ask myself where do I have to set the MS? In the game under GSE, or in my keyboard?
If it’s in the keyboard, can someone tell me where I can set it in my Logitech? I can’t find a reference to MS anywhere. And what does this AHK mean? Isn’t that an automation and forbidden? thanks for Help <3
Both, but mandatory on your external keypress software.
In this case you need to record a keypress, and assing msec between presses ( if you want to use keyboard then logitech, if you want to use on mouse then corsair )
If 250msec , then is 125key up + 125 key down.
Cheers.
PS: match under GSE \ options the same total of msec ( if 250, then 250 in gse ) as you did under corsair or logitech ( this is for counting clicks per sec / GCD )
PS2: ahk is like your external keypress soft, but without the need of specific hardware.
I don’t know English that well. if I don’t know something then I use the translator ^^ , but unfortunately your post doesn’t make me any smarter. Is there anyone here who can explain the whole thing to me in more detail in German? I apologize for the stress I have caused.
