Updated import code for some reason mind blast was changed to holy fire.
If you have mana issues in dungeons/raids remove or add – infront of the mind blast line
in version 3

I changed to Venthyr cause i didn’t like the playstyle of Kyrian. With that i added Mindgames to the sequence. So now the macro supports both Kyrian and Venthyr Class ability’s. As usually Kyrians will need to activate Boon of the Ascended when needed.

I went ahead and rewrote the macro to be super lazy. So lazy that in dungeons just focus the tank and spam it. You don’t even have to target an enemy. Updated shield application. This is now the Oprah Winfrey of disc macro. Its handing out shields like like Oprah hands out cars.

  • This will keep shields on your focus target, yourself and the target of your target if you target an enemy.

  • This will do the rotation on your target if it is an enemy or if your target is a friendly it will cast on there target. If you don’t have a target it will cast on your focuses target.

  • If you mouseover a friendly unit it will put shield on them. There is no need to use a mod key for shield.

  • While in a dungeon or raid this will not attack out of combat and will not target a new enemy. No one likes a healer that pulls right.
    When your not in raid or dungeon it will auto target new enemy and start the rotation.

Usage Information

Supports both Kyrian and Venthyr class abilities.(Manually activate Boon of the Ascended macro will cast Ascended Blast. Manually use Ascended Nova if needed.)
In dungeons set tank as focus.
Shields will be cast on focus, yourself and targets target if your targeting an enemy.
Mouseover a friendly unit frame and shield will cast on them. (no need for mod key)
Alt to cast Mind Sear for aoe damage
Shift to cast Shadow Mend on mouseover
Ctrl to cast Rapture on mouseover
Will not initiate combat in dungeons.

Here is my macro with only the dps functions. When solo this will still shield self.
This is for people that use vudoo or other addons to apply shields and heals or just manually cast them.
This macro runs smoother then the lazy auto shield or auto mouseover shield macro.

The first macros is the DPS macro. The second macro is for healing.

@imsystem I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the shift and ctrl mods aren’t working. alt mod works fine. I’m looking for what could be issue. Other class mod macros work fine.

Edit: Disregard I found a typo in my script.

Feedback: Everything is working well for me at lvl 45. I healed some dungeons very easily. I mostly maintained atonements with PW: Shield > dot mobs > spam mind sear > profit
I only used PW: Radiance in heavy AOE or emergency situations

@Zemaree as @animum says the top macro is used to dps just spam it. to put shield on someone mouse over there unit frame and press the shift key.

The second macro is heal only. Say a party member is taking alot of damage that is more then your atonement can keep up. Just mouse over the party member and spam the second macro. Pressing shift on that macro will also put shield on them.

Thank you for the feed back. This sums up just about how i use it as well. Im lvl 49 and still working good. I do have an update ill be posting that does a better job at not over casting purge the wicked and for me seems to perform better. Will be updating that here in a few.

I like it this is what I did to the (DPS) macro
I add som more to the macro
/cast [@targettarget,nochanneling,nomod] Power Word: Shield
/cast Power Word: Shield
/cast [@mouseover, exists][nochanneling] Power Word: Shield
So now Atonement will be cast on tank auto when I just do dps
And will be cast on who I target with mouse

Use it if you like it.

Originally i had the macro set up to cast shield on @focus and just focus tank. For me it seemed to cause the macro to hang up sometimes. Thats why i removed it. I have been meaning to try it with @targetoftarget but never got around to it. Ill give it a few test runs to see if it feels smooth to me.

Tested with a /cast [nochanneling,help,exists,@targettarget] Power Word: Shield added to the top of sequence. Seems to work well so updated macro in first post. I left out /cast Power Word: Shield /cast [@mouseover, exists][nochanneling] Power Word: Shield So you will still need to hit shift to cast shield on mousever.

If your testing on a combat dummy it will do that cause it is trying to cast shield on target of your target. when fighting actual mobs it wont do that

I forgot the nochanneling,combat tag on solace. Either reimport new code or replace
/cast Power Word: Solace with /cast [nochanneling,combat] Power Word: Solace in the sequence for both versions to fix.

Just that alt and the heal macro will do the aoe atonement cast on mouseover. When it comes to disc healing im lazy i dont even use my other cooldowns just these 2 macros.

Seen alot of people wanting super lazy @targettarget and @focustarget disc macro. So Thought i would share what i been working on since a week before Shadowlands release.
