Updated macro to use Shear

I have been a big fan of this forum and been using macros for quite sometime. During Legion i was using DANTES_INFERNO macro for advanced DH Tanking. Thanks to DANTES for the inspiration and since i did not see his macro for BFA posted what he might like. :slight_smile:

Note this macro needs a more manual handling to suit doing higher keys in mythic plus but is a blast once you get a hang of it. I always top DPS. :slight_smile: I have attached damage and healing meters from heroic run of Temple of Sethraliss. I had to run with a low geared group so had to pull small. I have 335+ Gear.

How to use the macro:

This macro is built into heavy spirit bomb rotation and does great healing and damage. Once you get a hang of it you would love it. Jumping in and smashing things in Mythic plus in BFA.

Press ALT for Spirit BOMB when you have >4 Fragments. Check weak aura for Spirit BOMB in weak auras section. When you initially attack use the modifier for initial leech and then > 4 fragments.
Press SHIFT for Soul Cleave. Soul cleave does decent dmg and heals but use only when you are pain capped and don’t have fragments for Spirit bomb.
Press Control key for Infernal Strike. This is important as wasting Infernal Strike in regular rotation without modifier is a waste of DPS and heals. Check the weak aura for Internal strike in weak auras section.
I also have Internal Strike mapped to Q Key which i can use for movement when i am not using the movement.

This is my first time posting so pass on feedback. How i use is based on my preferences and i may not be able to tweak a lot. I will keep this macro updated. Thanks to this community for helping me a lot and thought i will give some back. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey Mate,

tested out your macro and it seems to work really well - except the ctrl modifier for infernal strike doesn’t seem to work.

Thanks for trying out. I imported and it works for me without changing. Use Ctrl key when you have charges of Infernal Strike available and when you are running the macro using auto key press.

Let me know if you still face issues and can look more into it.

Glad you liked my original Dantes :stuck_out_tongue:

The only reason i have not updated it yet is because i have not touched Vengeance but i think the only thing i needed to change was move Fracture back to Shear so the base line spell was used and also remove Soul Carver but the rest i would have kept. I am finding not a lot of macros were truly needing updating from 7.x and just a skill moved here and there but they were still relevant :slight_smile:
