Ok, I’m at 601 and in bear form have haste up to 15%. Chose talents that boost rage generation with thrash.
I’ve used a few macros and right now using OAKS. Maul never fires. My main damage dealers are Moonfire and Thrash. Funny thing. The groups I’ve run with tell me my single target DPS is really good. Usually over 300k.
What I think is happening is that Ironfur is eating up my rage. You know what, I’m ok with that. I get high stacks of Ironfur, often 4 to 6 and I am very tanky. Thrash and Swipe are AOE heavy, so I don’t have problems keeping aggro and my DPS is quite high in AOE, anywhere from 750-1.2mil.
So, my question is, why Maul at all?? Hmmm.
