Lua Error and unable to save or edit macros

My GSE addon bugged out the other day and I’m not quite sure how to fix. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled a few times to see if I can get it to work but same thing. Error on login, then can’t edit or save macros.

How not to fix a problem with GSE and frustrate everyone with your ignorance

GSE exists in two parts. The mod installed in your Addons folder and a settings file stored in your WTF folder. When you first install GSE, it creates the settings file first off. When you remove GSE, WoW doesn’t remove this file. If you dont remove it manually, then this will retain all your settings and macros. When you reinstall GSE, all your stuff is back immediately. Thank you for that information! I started by deleting the WTF and the addon. and renewing both. That got rid of the created icons. However, it was still broke. That part about the saved variables reminded me of a twitch setting. I right clicked the addon and it had the option to delete saved variables.

All fixed now. Hope this might help someone having the same issue.
