With the changes to GSE in V3.2 , I reworked my minimal macro from DF to work for the new talents to cut down on button bloat. The macro cast’s Shadow Bolt, Hand of Gul’dan, Dog’s, Vilefiend and Grimoire: Felguard. All other spell cast i.e. Demon Bolt, Implosion, Power Siphon and Tyrant are on separate buttons.
With the changes in 11.0.2 you can no longer use a /click macro so you will have to bind this to a key in GSE
Hi there! When you say we need to bind it to a key in GSE do you just mean we need to open GSE in wow (/gse) and then go to the keybinds and just set one?
Rather than making an actual macro in game that calls upon the GSE sequence?
Yes, you have to bind the key in GSE, I have mine bound to an unused key in GSE and then bind that key to the keyboard using wow keybinds, if that make sence.
Thank you for this. I just started a Demo warlock and am only lvl 19, so I’m going to bookmark this so I can come back and update my character’s talents as I level. Appreciate the macro as well.
Porcia, I’ve started using the warlock talents created by Kalamazi, who has played a warlock ever since Burning Crusade. I find many of his builds (all 3 specs) and recommendations for different scenarios to be excellent. Your macro is working really nicely since you created it to work with any talent build.
His recommendations show up on Wowhead here: Best Demonology Warlock Talent Tree Builds - The War Within 11.0.7 - Wowhead
Although the actual page on wowhead shows NotWarlock as the poster, those are the same builds Kalamazi suggests. I always check out wowhead for warlock because I know where those builds come from and am never disappointed in how they work.
