Mob’s Discipline Priest | Oracle | Mythic+ & Raid | Midnight 12.0 | *UPDATED* 4/09/2026

Updated 4/09/2026

*Fixed Raid Sequence which was not firing Penance often. Fixed targeting for both Raid and mythic+ sequence to help with Radiance casting*

Hey it’s Mob! This is my Oracle Discipline Priest setup for Midnight Season 1 covering both Mythic+ and Raid. Two sequences one for each content type but they work the same way. One button handles everything automatically while modifier keys give you precise control when someone needs immediate attention.

How Disc Oracle Actually Works

Discipline doesn’t heal the traditional way. Instead of pressing heal buttons when people take damage, you apply Atonement to your party a buff that converts your damage into healing on everyone carrying it. Every Shadow Word: Death, every Mind Blast, every Smite you deal to enemies simultaneously heals your whole group as long as they have Atonement active and are missing health.

The sequence handles this automatically. It opens every cycle with Power Word: Radiance which covers your entire party with Atonement in a single cast. Then immediately flows into Shadow Word: Pain on your target followed by Shadow Word: Death one button press that secretly triggers three separate Expiation procs through the Death’s Torment talent, sending a massive burst of Atonement healing across your group simultaneously. The sequence has two Radiance positions to match its two charges, ensuring your group never goes long without fresh Atonement coverage even if one charge is on cooldown.

Penance is cast defensively on your allies. Thanks to the Twinsight talent, every defensive Penance simultaneously fires offensive bolts at your enemy target automatically you get the Atonement application on your ally, direct healing on your ally, AND Atonement healing from the offensive bolts all from one cast. Two charges via Guiding Light means Penance fires frequently throughout every cycle.

Power Word: Shield sits between your two Penance charges in the sequence. This is intentional the Weal and Woe talent buffs your next Penance after every Shield cast, and every Shield has a 30% chance to proc Void Shield which splashes to three allies simultaneously applying Atonement to all of them and reflecting damage back as additional Atonement healing through the Master the Darkness Apex talent.

Targeting — How The Smart Healing Works

Keep an enemy targeted at all times. Your damage spells Shadow Word: Pain, Mind Blast, Shadow Word: Death, Smite all fire at your current enemy target automatically. No thought required on the damage side.

Your healing and Atonement spells - Power Word: Radiance, Penance, Power Word: Shield use smart targeting that follows this priority chain automatically:

Mouseover first - hover your mouse over any party member’s health frame and those spells fire directly at them. If your tank is dropping fast, float your mouse to their frame and the sequence directs Penance and Shield at them immediately.

Targettarget as fallback - when your mouse is not hovering over a specific player the sequence looks at whoever your current enemy target is attacking — almost always your tank. This means Penance automatically heals your tank without you doing anything. Your tank has Twinsight-boosted Penance healing landing on them constantly while offensive Twinsight bolts simultaneously hit the enemies you are targeting. Both directions at once from a single cast.

Player as last resort - if neither mouseover nor targettarget resolve, spells fall back to yourself so you never go without coverage.

**NOTE: **
The sequence works best when your mouse isn’t hovering over anything including enemies. I know that sounds counterintuitive but here’s why it matters. When your mouse isn’t over anything, Penance fires defensively via targettarget, which with Twinsight talented is almost always what you want. When you hover over an enemy, Penance fires offensively instead which is not terrible, but defensively is stronger the majority of the time.

My normal approach is to tab through enemies and keep my mouse free until I need to hover over a party frame for a direct heal. When you do hover over a frame the sequence still fires all its damage spells normally and prioritizes healing that player with Penance and Power Word: Shield. And with Atonement running, everyone is getting healed regardless

Modifiers — Spot Healing On Demand

Shift + key fires Flash Heal instantly at your mouseover or yourself. Use this the moment someone is critically low and needs a direct heal right now regardless of where the sequence is in its cycle. Every block has this available so it fires immediately without waiting.

Ctrl + key fires Power Word: Shield instantly at your mouseover or yourself. Use this to proactively shield someone before heavy damage hits, to immediately apply Atonement to a specific target, or to fish for a Void Shield proc that shields three people and applies Atonement to all of them at once. Great for shielding your tank at the start of a pull before Radiance comes around.

Set Shift+key and Ctrl+key as additional GSE keybinds pointing to the same sequence in GSE options. Unbind any default WoW keybinds that conflict with those combinations first.

Mythic+ Rotation Notes

In Mythic+ a single Power Word: Radiance covers your entire five-person group. The sequence fires it twice per cycle matching its two charges so Atonement is always being refreshed. Shadow Word: Death appears three times per cycle because it is your highest output button each press triggers Death’s Torment for three total Expiation procs automatically. Keep Shadow Word: Pain active on as many enemies as possible by manually tabbing between targets at the start of each pull. More active Pain applications means more Expiation value per Shadow Word: Death press.

When enemies drop below 20% health manually target swap to them. Shadow Word: Death in execute range spawns Shadowfiends via the Shadowfiend talent which deal additional damage through Inescapable Torment — a meaningful healing and damage boost especially on packs with several dying enemies.

Raid Rotation Notes

In Raid the sequence prioritizes Penance more heavily with three positions per cycle since sustained single target healing output matters more across long boss fights. Shadow Word: Death drops to two positions since execute opportunities are less frequent on bosses. The core Atonement loop remains the same, Radiance for coverage, damage spells for healing conversion, Penance and Shield cycling constantly.

Evangelism is your primary ramp cooldown in Raid. It fires an instant Radiance and makes your next two Radiance casts instant. Time this before major boss damage events to blanket your raid with Atonement right before the hit lands. This is the primary skill expression of Raid Disc and should always be manual.

What Stays On Your Hotbar

Evangelism

Ultimate Penitence

Power Infusion

Dispel Magic / Mass Dispel

Mana Tips

Power Word: Shield and Power Word: Radiance are expensive. Stop pressing the button between pulls and when your group is at full health — Atonement only heals injured players so you are burning mana for nothing during downtime. Shadowfiend procs from Shadow Word: Death execute kills passively return mana throughout the dungeon. Keep mana potions in your bag for long boss fights. If mana becomes a serious issue pop Dispersion early rather than scrambling at zero.

Not sure what is going on from my end but it’s not working for me. Even focusing on enemies nothing is being fired. I am not a noob with GSE I use every other macro but this one seems not to be working :frowning:

hmm.. i just used it in a dungeon. let me try to resave it and export out.

grab the update from the original post. I just replaced it with a new one. if you still have issues let me know. I will check update versions of GSE

Not sure if you changed anything but I re-imported and it worked thank you very much

Nice. Let me know how it runs for you. I’ve been having a blast with it.

Dispersion? On Disc Priest?

Nice catch, ty. I have been making sequences for all 3 priest specs. Trying to finish up shadow where that would belong.

got exited after reading. gonna try on one of my 80 priests in tw

Dude, fan-tas-tic job. 4 tw dungeons in 1 hour and so easy, so smooth.Dps/ heal/ switch around. Did 80-90 on Preservation today and people where dying left and right with those zug zug pulls. Time for 80-90 on one of my priests.

This one, amazing ! Besides some odd cloth in a weird place healthbars barely moving. Tank pulled big add, jumped down and pulled whole room at beam boss and even all beams converted to mobs…sequence handled it with one finger … and no tank wasnt a mythic 90, but a bad geared 84.

Since normal dungeons are needed now, TW is over, also a breeze, but bring drinks and mana pots for that rare occasion, but you already said that in your expl.

Gonna level this one, 87 now and go for KSM with this. Should be a breeze. This should have way more engagement then it does atm. Excellent sequence!

Thank you !

Im trying this out as a lvl 80 (81now) . I was having mana issues during my 1st run. I figured out it was the very last line of code that cast flash heal. I disabled that block and it fixed it. My issue now is the macro doesnt seem to auto target the mobs during the dung runs or while questing. I constantly have to tab target. I placed the whole “/targetenemy [noharm][dead]” at the start of every box and its still not targeting. As far as the actual healing goes this thing is super smooth and does a great job. I cant seem to figure out the targeting thing though.

I removed flash heal as well. I don’t think I pushed out my most recent build. When I get done with work I’ll update the GSE string.i made some changes that should fix that all.

Keep an enemy targeted at all times. Your damage spells Shadow Word: Pain, Mind Blast, Shadow Word: Death, Smite all fire at your current enemy target automatically. No thought required on the damage side.

Using the M+ build, no mana issues, just after a boss id like to drink.

Yea I read that up top in the description of the macro. Its not autotargeting for me. I have action targeting on also. Let me turn that off, delete macro and reimport to see if that resolves it.

What level of M+ keys does this sequence work up to?

I’ve ran past 6 but I also manual a few things on my own. This will be able to do it on it own which is why I built it but there are some things I just want to control. I have a version that I use which I can post but it takes out power ward radiance because I want more control over that. But power ward radiance shouldn’t overlap often in the sequence. You should be able to run it no issue. I keep flash heal on a shift mod so can use it on procs and when shadowmend procs because shadowmend is very good.

try it and find out. without knowledge of the class or dungeon nothing works but its smooth as hell.

It hardly overlaps, and for those oshit moments you have Evangalism so all good.

not wanna pressure you since you’re obviously busy already but any progress on that shadow sequence?

I haven’t, its on the list. I have kind of a copy done but its not where i want it and may not be at a good state at the moment. I can DM it to you if you want to try it, but I will be working on it sooner or later. I pushed out other classes like Unholy DK and Holy Paladin.

I pushed an updated GSE string in the original post. Just delete the old one and put in the new sequence.

I took out flash heal and just have this as a shift modifier.

Since Penance is being used so much I put extra logic in for power ward shield as void shield is OP.

This should also autotarget.

Another note is this does have shadow ward pain in the sequence but it does not reset on target ive had too many issues with putting that into sequences where it can lock up functionality. I would set a key or mouse button and have SWP on it and make sure you tab and spread dots as a ton of healing comes from this during big pulls.
