MoeFury - 8.3+ - October 2020

Can you please let me know what you think of my macro! I do over the raid bots simulated dps. This macro pretty much uses everything all you need to do is target the enemy and spam it. For AOE I have a Weak aura that tells me when to press whirlwind to keep the buff up so you also might want this (I will link below). Some changes you may want to make are to remove blood fury if you are not an orc and also to remove heart essence usage if you don’t want to use it in the macro. Also, bladestorm and dragon roar could be considered to take out as there is no check for distance to the target. If you guys like this macro I could also post my arms and prot macros and will keep them updated in pre-patch and shadowlands.

i believe this is a macro not for 9.0, the name says 8.3, so think its what we are playing now (pre pre-patch) But @mojous can correct me if i am wrong.

You are correct it is for the current iteration of the game.

I ask because I noticed in the macro that you wrote the lines not like the classic /cast and spell, but you put /cast nomod exist etc. what changes?

sorry, question was lil vague, thought you were asking cuz of pre patch coming out in a few days and you though we needed clarification. lol. i admit my first thought was if this was for SL. then figured @mojous would of named it so.

why whirlwind in nomod sequence. its using it on single targets unless the shift key is held down.

Heroic Throw is nice solo to pull a mob but not in group as it adds threat. Maybe at a nogroup tag to it

Okay, so you are actually supposed to use whirlwind if you have nothing else to use so that is why I have it. However, If you wish to not do any aoe dmg you can hold shift and only do single target. I have only found one instance where this was useful and that was when someone CC’d an enemy I was not supposed to attack it, for example, a freezing trap that breaks after taking damage.

This stops the macro from working if you are interacting with things such as a quest objective so it wont cancel your action. It also will only fire if you have a target so that you don’t pull the entire room of mobs accidently.

After using this in lfg it works very well. The shift mod makes sense now. Looks like you put alot of thought into the macro. Well done.

Heroic throw does indeed add threat however after testing and getting keystone master with this script I never once took aggro. It does however put you quite high on the list of next targets for if the tank dies. But I think that is good as I would rather take aggro over the healers etc. It adds a bit to the dps considering it can crit and it even good in pvp. Plus it is not like you will be using it that often (only when far away from the mob as it has range restrictions).
