Feral Druid Sequence Spec Info
Note: This sequence has two Feral (DPS) versions, one optimized for world/solo content, and one for dungeons/raids.

  • Goal: Deliver high-pressure single-target DPS with strong opener burst, continuous bleed maintenance, and efficient Energy/Combo Point usage. This sequence opens from stealth and maintains uptime on bleeds and Savage Roar, with key mod support for major finishers and cooldowns.

Feral Druid: Open World (Version 1)

  • Purpose: For questing, solo play, and world content where you often face enemies directly.
  • Combo Point Builder: Mangle is used as the main generator, since it can be used from any position (front or back).
  • Strengths: Reliable, never hangs, always works regardless of mob positioning.
  • When to use: Leveling, world quests, soloing, or any content where you can’t always get behind your target.

Feral Druid: Dungeon/Raid (Version 2)

  • Purpose: For group content (dungeons, raids) where you can reliably attack from behind the boss or target.
  • Combo Point Builder: Shred is used as the main generator, providing higher damage per energy when attacking from behind.
  • Strengths: Maximizes DPS in coordinated group play.
  • When to use: Raids, dungeons, or any situation where you can consistently be behind your target.

Core Rotation Includes:

  • Ravage - Opener from Stealth. High-damage attack to begin burst sequence.
  • Rake - Core bleed DoT. Maintains strong single-target pressure.
  • Mangle/Shred - Primary Combo Point generator (Mangle for open world, Shred for dungeons/raids).
  • Rip - Finisher bleed. Applied at 5 Combo Points.
  • Thrash - Bleed-based AoE. Used in single-target to boost Blood in the Water uptime and add snapshot pressure.
  • Savage Roar - Maintains damage buff. Applied after building Combo Points.
  • Tiger’s Fury - Energy regen + damage amp (used on cooldown in combat).
  • Cat Form / Prowl - Transitions you into stealth for opener. Ensures correct form/state pre-combat.

Modded Keys:

  • Shift = Swipe - AoE cleave. Use on packs or when targets are stacked.
  • Alt = Ferocious Bite - Execute finisher. Use at 5 Combo Points or Blood in the Water.
  • Ctrl = Berserk - Major offensive cooldown. Reduces Energy cost of abilities.

Hey Crogin,

Thank you for sharing!!! I will give it a try on my guardian.

The Feral DPS macro doesn’t seem to be firing off skills properly. Level 85 with Ilvl of 359 and In Open World or Dungeon most I can get out of it is roughly 5k dps.
