[MoP Classic] Rogue Lvl 81+ (GSE3) Updated: Oct 15, 2025

I’ve decided to share my Rogue sequence with you all!

Rogue Sequence for MoP Classic Phase 1

Assassination Specialization

(2025-10-15)

  • New ST and AoE builds for MoP Classic (level 81+).
  • Focused on poison uptime, bleed consistency, and manual finisher control.
  • Opener automatically applies Slice and Dice once per target using reset=target.
  • ST priority: Envenom (manual) > Rupture > Dispatch > Mutilate.
  • AoE priority: Crimson Tempest (manual) > Fan of Knives > Rupture.
  • Cooldowns: Vendetta on-demand via mod; trinkets auto-activate in the opener.
  • Reliability and formatting:
    • Regular casts use [nomod,nochanneling] for clean override behavior.
    • /targetenemy [noharm][dead] included in all blocks for targeting consistency.
    • All blocks under 255 characters; no script lines used.
  • Modifier keys:
    • Shift = Vendetta / Fan of Knives
    • Ctrl = Feint
    • Alt = Envenom / Crimson Tempest

Combat Specialization

  • New ST and AoE builds for MoP Classic (level 81+).
  • Emphasizes strong single-target output and controlled cleave.
  • Opener automatically handles Slice and Dice with reset=target logic.
  • ST priority: Eviscerate (manual) > Rupture > Sinister Strike > Revealing Strike.
  • AoE priority: Crimson Tempest (manual) > Fan of Knives > Rupture.
  • Cooldowns: Adrenaline Rush via mod for burst control; trinkets auto-used in the opener.
  • Reliability and formatting:
    • Regular casts use [nomod,nochanneling] for safe flow with manual overrides.
    • Target logic and startattack lines included.
    • Priority StepFunction ensures consistent CP generation.
  • Modifier keys:
    • Shift = Adrenaline Rush / Fan of Knives
    • Ctrl = Evasion
    • Alt = Eviscerate / Crimson Tempest

Subtlety Specialization

(2025-10-15)

  • New ST and AoE builds for MoP Classic (level 81+).
  • Focused on controlled burst phases through Shadow Dance and clean finisher usage.
  • Opener automatically applies Slice and Dice once per target using reset=target.
  • ST priority: Eviscerate (manual) > Rupture > Backstab > Hemorrhage.
  • AoE priority: Crimson Tempest (manual) > Fan of Knives > Rupture.
  • Cooldowns: Shadow Dance via mod for burst control; trinkets auto-used in the opener.
  • Reliability and formatting:
    • Uses [nomod,nochanneling] for clean mod overrides.
    • Target handling lines included in all blocks.
    • Priority StepFunction prevents ability lockups and ensures fluid CP flow.
  • Modifier keys:
    • Shift = Shadow Dance / Fan of Knives
    • Ctrl = Feint
    • Alt = Eviscerate / Crimson Tempest

Sometimes when switching targets the macro doesnt start auto attacking have to right click, is there a way to make autostart when switched from original target

Hopefully with the new update this won’t be an issue for you anymore.

was wondering why it shows 2 of each specs, is this for ST and aoe? or do the sequences do both?

That happens when you import and don’t rename the OG sequence, GSE will just add more of the same sequence when pressing replace. Generally what I do personally is when I go to import the sequences I choose this option.

then rename it to whatever.

Hi, in your macro for the combat spec there is no Sinister Strike. Is this normal or is it something you forgot?

I do voting in my community and which ever sequence has the most votes at the end of the poll time I work on updating the winner.
