Hey, I’ve been using this since v. 1.5 and loving it!
I do have a small problem for a while now, the modifier Shift and Ctrl don’t work for me anymore for some reason. But Alt does.
Did I fuck something up?
Hit Options, and type in Action. Make sure you don’t have Shift or Alt bound to the Lock Action Bar function. I commonly have that reset for me, so maybe you have it also. That, or you have modifier buttons disabled or them bound to something else that is taking priority.
It’s my first time using Macros with GSE and i love it, great work @Orbalisk !
I have a few questions though.
I currently have mythic+ gear and ilvl 380.
When doing mythic+ I use the charge macro, and then start spamming the macro key.
Alot of times i tend to loose aggro the first 2-10 seconds after pulling then it stabilizes, is this normal?
Another question, I see that “Ignore pain” often us being used when i have 8+ seconds left on the prior “Ignore pain” buff, can I reduce it somehow?
Ignore pain reduces as you get hit. At higher content, you will need the higher frequency that I have in the macro, as well as the damage outgoing through revenge, which also will add to the Ignore Pain mitigation. Make sure you’re firing it at 100ms.
The nature of GSE macros is that it tries to fire logically, but sometimes things get out of wack in the cycle and it catches up through rotation. Nothing on your end. I try to have the macro consistently fire Thunder Clap fire, but that isn’t always the case and sometimes it’s 2-3 seconds into a pull. That’s why Demoralizing shout is also up front, as it’s an AOE grab plus some rage.
Congratz for your macro bro, in the tanking perspective is doing very well, the only thing i can say it need some change is the low dps of the macro, but defensively works pretty good n.n
It’s a beautiful macro, but dps isn’t a strong suite for prot warrior, especially in M+, you gain invincibility in return of losing damage output(besides aoe dmg in large groups). If you’re not dying when soloing bosses, the it’s working as intended.
how do you say? never change a running system. still running your 2.4 version (no tier set so far unfortunatly) have to give the newer versions a shot over the weekend
