I made a few mythic+ stormbringer sequences that seemed to pump some pretty nice AOE numbers.

I have three different sequences:

  • NOMOD sequence
  • MOD ST sequence
  • MOD AOE Sequence

The NOMAD sequence will have all cooldowns, trinkets, tempered potion and the main rotation in the sequence so you can just spam one button and not have to worry about cooldowns.

The MOD ST and AOE sequences will both use the SHIFT and CTRL:

Shift will be used as an opener with all of your cooldowns, trinkets and tempered pot. I have it in a specific order to fire off the preferred opener for class.

CTRL will store your trinkets and big cooldowns like Ascendance and Storm Elemental along with your trinkets. I added this if you’re someone who wants a bit more control over your cooldowns.

The shorter cooldowns like stormkeeper and PWave are built into the main rotation block.

Setting up key binds:

NOMOD:

Example of setting up the NOMOD version using the ‘1’ key. (This is just an example, you can bind it to any button)

In GSE under keybinds, select the MOB_NOMOD_Stormbringer sequence and bind it to the 1 key. That’s it.

MOD:

In GSE under keybinds, select the MOB_Stormbringer_AOE sequence and bind it to the 1 key.

To use the MODs you need to also bind that specific MOD button to the same key but with that MOD button as well. So, for SHIFT you would select the sequence and when binding the key hold SHIFT and press 1.

This will be the same if you want to use the CTRL MOD as well. Hold CTRL then press 1.

Again, ‘1’ is just used as an example it can be any key you want.

HI I tried them on anew toon and after a bit it ‘breaks’ by not doing anything other than spamming spell not learned…I deleted this 2 or 3 times and after about 30 mins it gives that error message (I used the NOMOD version btw)

@Mob so doing some testing on this, your shift+crtl mods don’t actually hold anything.

so it’s constantly just popping big cooldows when there are avaliable? i thought the point of holding CTRL was ment to store all of them but it’s not.

might be worth looking into

It would be nice if we could have a st aoe loop macro and then an ascendence macro seperate so a 3 key macro or like oak does it with his paladin macro where you hold control to fire of cooldowns

Yeh, i found this also. So i blocked the auto casts of Ascendance, Storm Elemental. And then let macro do its thing. Use big CDs on big pulls or bosses. Well, on dummies was really goog. but just bout to test on 7 key.

Overall dps for +7 arakara with 701 ilvl.. 4.1m

Hey, sorry I’ve been away for awhile with work and traveling. I will take a look at this sometime tomorrow.

It should work like that with the mod version but it seems like it’s not firing off correctly as I see some others are having the issue. I’ve been away for a bit but I am back and I will take a look at it and fix it.

Good stuff. I saw your earlier post. Seems the mods are broken. The nomod version will fire everything off. The mod version should allow to hold shift or ctrl for your bigger cds. I think atm it is broken so I will have to take a look into it.

I managed to sort with a mod:ctrl/castsequence Storm elemental, Ascendence, Storm keeper, ancestral Call.

I just deleted the rest of the ascendence bits and put this at the top of each spell works ok slightly less burst dps than yours but seems to have a steady burst. Was sitting at about 4.5-5mil with S2 gear

Also put storm keeper on a mod: alt separate to keep that firing

Ill prob try to add the moving while casting spell later (can’t remember name :laughing:) later. I can try put up pics of what I’ve done and you can alter from there if you like. You’ll prob do a much better job than me.
