Just an update, i just redone the single target macro, it perfects the cast sequence for perfect VT and SWP refresh !!!.
Not to throw a wrench in your excellent work but “/castsequence” is and has been broken by Blizzard for a very long time meaning it will work for some and not for others in a case-by-case macro.
I guess me and you are the lucky ones to have that working somewhat for our macro.
Just putting that out there for others to realize they might not get the same results.

The macro is great! just wondering if you add a version with void torrent into macro without it getting interrupted?
castsequence has never been broken, for my macro’s anyhow, but manay years experience making them, way before gnomesequencer
you can modify that, by just putting [nochanneling] in void torrent.
i dont like to do that as void bolt and mind blast, give shadow aperration procs

If you’d like I can hunt down all of them and post them where he’s saying it’s broken. And since I know a thing or two about macros I can confirm it is broken…
OK so it’s broken, what’s the solution? Run the line without castsequence but using the same order? I understand it’s broken and may or may not work but let’s say it doesn’t work for someone - what can they do to make it work?
Keep the /castsequence lines to an absolute minimum. That’s what I do for all mine while taking out spells from the /castsequence and putting them as /cast playing around with them till I achieve my best DPS numbers.

I’ve used this macro for the past couple of days and it works very well for the most part. I have had a couple of freezes, particularly with the AoE macro, but other than that it works great. Very good dps
ive had a few hiccups, but only in gnomesequencer, seems with gnomesequencer it depends where you put the line. how i get them perfected is i first make a /castsequence macro in the normal macro built in to wow. test it thoroughly in there, then copy it over when its ready.
i only put sequences with non gcd and or modifiers spells in the premacro, other sequences belong in the sequences box.
i can honestly say the only hiccup ive had with gnomesequencer was this shadow priest to make sure the Vampiric touch doesn’t repeat over and over for an unknown reason, actually putting it in a sequence fixed it aslong as it was not at the start. and the other way was to use a modifier

please check your GCD Cooldown to see if your really freezing, also make sure you have the correct talents 1131122.

A couple more days running the macro and I can tell you a bit more - seems the only place I really have issues now is in Torghast. I’ve run several dungeons and quite a bit of general play and I haven’t had any other issues once I found a sweet spot with the ms. This is really a good macro and I do appreciate the work you’ve put into it.

I’ve “shopped around” the different macros available on this site & so far this has been the best one yet. It run’s very smoothly & does super nice DPS. Especially the AOE. I did notice the same thing that Clip has though with the AOE macro. For some reason “Mind Sear” just won’t go off even though it’s not on CD. I have also noticed this really only happens when I’m soloing content. When I’m in a group everything works great.

i just remembered that, it tries to cast mind sear at targets target, so if thats “you”, it will clip.
just remove [@targettarget] from the mind sear
That would make sense as I have observed many times that my mind sear seems to be cast at a party member and not the enemy. I have often wondered how is that possible…
From the spell icon tooltip, i gathered that the initial target doesnt take damage from mind sear only targets withing ten yards. so i made it target the targets target to get one extra tick.
Maybe you could make a new version in the AOE macro, and add version 2 to solo without the targettarget to be honest im going to update the AOE macro now because it is broken really

Hello “hardCORE” I think you made a mistake in the “SPST” and “SPaoe” versions when I copy them he tells me that it is the same Aoe for both

there is no need to cast mind sear @targets target. Mind sear does damage to the target if it is an enemy. Try it on a dummy target
